This (to me) has a Moroccan/Middle Eastern flavor. While it's cooking I put a box of raisins in the bottom of the bowl. The rice pilaf is very hot when it comes out of the microwave. Immediately put it over the raisins. and stir. Yes, I eat the entire meal. I would cook 2 and serve it for company.
Great with many different meals.

The taste was ok, I prefer eating rice cooked from scratch with fresh ingredients. Directions were easy to understand and large enough to read. No messy pan to clean and constantly stir so it didn’t boil over. We already bought more! The cost is higher than stove rice but well worth the easy clean up! Rice was moist.

Making rice from scratch takes at least 30 minutes by the time a pot boils, cook for 20, and fluff and cool for 5 minutes. And haven't even flavored it yet! But this Ready Rice takes just a few minutes and tastes great. The only thing that would be better about it, at least for our family of 4, is if there was more in the pouch. As it is, it's 2.2 oz of a side per person which just isn't enough. I'd buy again though just for the ease.

I love that you have many different flavors to choose from. The only thing I found with this rice is no matter what flavor you will have to add some spice or flavoring as it is a bit bland, other than that it is very easy and convenient. You get a good size portion, so if you want to share you can.

It took just a few minutes to make and both my husband and I enjoyed it. It has a very mild taste so anyone can eat it. The only thing we noticed that happens so often with serving sizes is, my hubby and I easily split this and the package says it feeds four. Yes I know servings are much smaller than we all think but just know that if you’re serving four people they’ll be smaller servings.
