You see, back in the day, before smartphones and social media, our fans spoke to us via handwritten notes pinned to the bulletin boards at our Scoop Shops. It was sometime in 1986 when one such fan was persistent enough to mail a postcard to our main office in Burlington, Vermont. Super premium ice cream meets great guitar solos? It was genius, and Ben immediately began creating the iconic concoction.
Cherry Garcia debuted in 1987 and quickly became one of our top three most popular flavors. In fact, the first eight ice cream pints went straight to Mr. Garcia himself and were met with two thumbs up. As for the fan who sent the anonymous postcard? Our sleuths found her and thanked her with a trip to Vermont and a year's supply of Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

Truthfully, this is a ridiculously hard choice because there are so many flavors. I love. It all depends on the mood. I’m in, but Ben & Jerry’s has never disappointed me once in my life. These two men have been the most consistent relationship I’ve had in my life. They never skimp on the chunks. Packed full of flavor. I can’t find a single thing wrong. The big cherries and the delicious chunks of chocolate. I need to go get some right now.

Cherry Garcia is one of the best flavors! Loaded with lots of cherry peices (wish there was more) and big chunks of dark chocolate make this the perfect ice cream for serious cherry lovers. If you prefer a fruity based ice cream vs thick chocolate sauce and sticky globs, then this is for you!

Cherry Garcia used to be really good, but lately the ice cream is so bland. It doesn't taste like cherry ice cream. The cherries are delicious, but there aren't enough of them. Also, too much chocolate mixed in recently.

I used to work at ben and jerry’s, and i loved tasting all the flavors just to give customers an idea of every flavor. This one by far was my favorite! I love the dark cherry ice cream flavor with more cherries mixed in. Not to mention the chunks of dark chocolate!! They have every portion size you could think of, and the quality of taste is always so consistent-whether you’re at the ice cream shop or grocery store.

Cherry Garcia is hands down my favorite flavor of ice cream and Ben & Jerry’s got it spot on!! It’s the perfect creamy texture with the soft cherries and chunks of chocolate. I love that B&J offers small containers so you don’t feel bad to empty it yourself haha.

I don’t know how this app knew I just had this the other day… it was so delicious and I loved treating myself. I bought the dairy-free version and I really love the light almond flavor it has to it. Chunks of chocolate and cherries combined with smooth almond flavor are the highlight of this dessert. The packaging is really cute and attractive. It says a pint is three servings but I ate it in two sittings.

I love cherry garcia, itms my favorite ice cream. Super fresh and creamy! The distribution between chocolate pieces and cherries it’s perfect, I get multiple servings out of the tub, it doesn’t get freezer burn and it tastes amazing! Also the chocolate pieces are dark chocolate which makes it even better

This is the second B&J ice cream that I try, the cherry Garcia ice cream is very creamy, but the flavor is just ok, I will be not be buying it again. The only good thing are the little pieces of cherry 🍒 those are nice: but I feel is plain, not to sweet
