TIPS TO PREVENT MOLD AND MILDEW

Wood color is different from the photo. It's a lighter color wood that looks just like all basic plate racks you've seen in other pics. No such thing as a mildew-proof wood dish rack. You must: 1)Rub with food-grade mineral oil, 2)Set it on absorbant surface, 3) Dry it off between uses, 4)Clean and re-oil every 1-3 months, 5)Circulate air with ceiling fan, small fan, or window. DO NOT set a wooden rack on a non-absorbant surface or you'll be throwing this away sooner than you think.
