Q: Will the copper turn green when wet?

A: Hello Mam - We appreciate your interest in this item. Since the item is made of iron with a copper finish, it will not turn green when wet because the green patina that forms on copper is a result of the copper itself oxidizing when exposed to moisture and air, and iron does not undergo the same chemical reaction to produce a green color. I love this! I moved into a rental that doesn’t have a dishwasher, so I constantly have dishes drying on the counter. This is pretty, so with it mixed with my pretty dishes, it’s actually a nice little display. I’ve been using it every day for two months and it hasn’t rusted or anything. I just wish that it had a place for silverware or something coordinating for silverware.

I liked it, but it was too small and i feel like the color was a bit off. It looked more like a rose gold. The feet of it were also not super even, and it bugged me lol. It had potential. Just not in my kitchen I guess. Which is sad cause I loveeeee pieces by magnolia. I was surprised I didn’t fall in love with this one. I was so excited to receive it!

Love the color and looks of it. Seems very sturdy. However it’s too small and narrow. The glass holders aren’t flexible at all and this makes it hard for some glasses to stay in place. Doesn’t hold many dishes and we are a family of five. I really wanted to like it but had to return.
