Q: Will the copper turn green when wet?

Since the item is made of iron with a copper finish, it will not turn green when wet because the green patina that forms on copper is a result of the copper itself oxidizing when exposed to moisture and air, and iron does not undergo the same chemical reaction to produce a green color. it would have been nice if the original shrink wrap was left in tact before shipping . the wooden handles are scratched and unappealing . however I'm self sufficient and know the proper wood finish to correct it with . solid construction, beautiful in person . a compliment to any personal kitchen ,large or small . or whichever creative organizational use it is put to use for . great investment .

I liked it, but it was too small and i feel like the color was a bit off. It looked more like a rose gold. The feet of it were also not super even, and it bugged me lol. It had potential. Just not in my kitchen I guess. Which is sad cause I loveeeee pieces by magnolia. I was surprised I didn’t fall in love with this one. I was so excited to receive it!
