Description
Add a stylish backyard complement to your patio with this 38.5in square umbrella base. A charming, low-profile design stays out of the way of foot space, whether under a table or freestanding. This base is built tough with heavy-duty, rust-resistant steel for a sturdy base that lasts for years to come. The steel tube with secure fit tightening knob provides the perfect fit, as it fits umbrella poles with diameters between 1.5 and 2 inches (1.5 in, 1.7 in, and 2 in umbrella pole adapters are included to adjust from 1.5 in to 2 in). It also provides an easy assembly; 1. Add a bolt, 2. Insert the metal plate, and 3. Screw in the knob. Plus, four anchor holes are pre-drilled for securing the base directly to wood decks or patios. An umbrella is a lot less valuable without the perfect stand to keep it standing tall. For reference, the overall product dimensions are 24.5"(L) x 24.5"(W) x 14"(H).

Q: How thick is the base of the stand? I'm worried that when the chairs are pushed in under the table, one leg of each chair will be on the base.

Weak, low quality
This umbrella stand is not designed well nor strong enough to hold a large umbrella upright. The plastic at bottom broke off, both stands within a few days. My umbrellas are always leaning because the bolt only goes up through the top of the base. The previous brown design was much better. Also the finishes easily Damaged/faded.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This umbrella base is exactly what I was looking for. It is perfect to hold my umbrella clothes line. I wanted to put it in my garage so that I could hang clothes up any time day or night and rain, wind or birds pooping on the clothes could be avoided. This stand seems strong and fits the clothesline pole just right. I also like that it is moveable and not permanent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4 or 5 of these stands over 2 years and at first they are a good deal ,but lately the pole part at the base seems to be breaking down at the bottom... the umbrellas all lean now .I like that they are flat and are very high compared to other poles but they just don't seem to be made the same anymore

Do not recommend
Not great and do not recommend. Disappointed I spent so much money on something that does not work. The base does rust and will stain your outdoor rug. I used a 9’ umbrella with the base As I did not see a max dia capacity noted. The base is so heavy to lift I never thought this would have fell over. Note, there is an option to screw in the corners but as I am renting and live on the second floor I am not able to screw down the unit. On a non windy 91 degree day the whole thing toppled over and thankfully no one was hurt!

Nice Modern look but a bit on the large side
I love the simple modern look of this base. Unfortunately it's quite large. While I knew this when ordering, seeing in person, made me realize it might be too big. But I kept it and its working out well. Still looks great and does the job of keeping our 10 ft umbrella in place.

Great plain heavy base!
This Umbrella stand arrived very quickly, heavy enough to hold our new umbrella also ordered on this site. I haven’t put them up yet as we live in Michigan and it is now November. I like that this base has the option to be bolted/screwed down to our deck if need be.

Great umbrella holder!
I bought this umbrella holder thinking I would not need some type of holder in the middle. My husband said I was wrong and there is no way this umbrella would stand up with just the umbrella stand. We put it up for my daughter's birthday party and I was right! The umbrella stand held it up beautifully with no need for anything else to hold the umbrella in the middle. I do not suggest leaving it out during windy or stormy times though. The umbrella will most likely fall over.

Solid stands
We moved into our home 5 days before the covid 19 lockdown.... our home needed some work but we didn't have time to get it all done,so we ordered two stands and large rectangle umbrellas to hold us over til we could build a patio cover.... they were really well made and sturdy.
