In regards to how this 92in Steel Garden Arch Arbor Outdoor Trellis for Garden, Climbing Plants w/ Wire Lattice - Black is secured to the ground, the four legs at the bottom of the arch you see in the product images are intended to be buried in the ground. With that said, if done correctly, the bottom of the first horizontal bar on each side of the arch will actually be flush with the ground. In the product description as of 3/8/2021, the legs are referred to as stakes, and I can easily see how this can cause confusion. The product description will be updated soon to make this more clear!

In regards to if the 92in Steel Garden Arch Arbor Outdoor Trellis for Garden, Climbing Plants w/ Wire Lattice - Black includes stakes or not as well as what is recommended, there are no stakes included with this product nor are they recommended. This is because the four legs at the bottom of the arch you see in the product images are intended to be buried in the ground. On screen tbis item looks grest but the design fails. Once assembled you can see that the design does not support the item on either side when upright.

I am interested to see how it stands up through the winter, but so far I am happy with the purchase. We placed it in the backyard near a Wisteria tree that is learning to climb over and around as we hoped for.

Great trellis for vining crops or flowers. Can be flimsy, but make sure to tighten the bolts to ensure a firm hold on all of the joints. Overall, in love with the way it looks in the raised garden beds.

Easy to assemble, however very unstable and already rusted. Feels like the slightest breeze may knock it over. One side is already bowing inward. Was planning to have plants grow up it but I don’t think this can handle it. Very poor quality. Wish I didn’t throw away the box it came in!

Easy to assemble. However they just painted it, they didn’t powder coat it. So it chips easily even just sitting there. The bolts aren’t rustproof. They and some of the chipped areas have rusted in just a few weeks. I went over all the chips, maybe fifty, with black nail polish, but I don’t know if it will help. Very disappointed.

I'm slightly disappointed in the quality of this arch. The pieces slide into one another but they are not secured by anything. I haven't installed the arch into the ground but so far it is pretty flimsy. It also came pretty chipped- which is fine because it is easily repaintable at this price point. But you get what you pay for i suppose? I'd hoped for something I little more secure given the great reviews.
