The water-propelled design provides an easy way to keep your pool clean all season long as the vacuum moves across the bottom of the pool on its own. It is easy to use, with handles that make it simple to retrieve the device out of the water. How does it work? Simply connect the cleaner's hose to your filter pump, place it in the pool, and it will take off.
The brush along the bottom of the cleaner will help collect debris such as dirt, leaves, and sand in the basket before it reaches your filter, not only prolonging the life of your pump but also keeping your pool sparkling clean for you. The multidirectional wheels give this item full mobility to reach the full area of your pool. Featuring 3 adjustability settings, you can also change the direction and angle of the wheels manually.

Q: does this work for permanent, metal sided above ground pools with larger pumps? we have a round 24' round 4' pool with a standard pump, but we can't figure out how the vacuum would attach to our pump

Started great but then......
I think it's been about a year since purchasing and it worked great last season. This season started with the hose adapter cracking, and the vacuum not working very well. (Also missing the brush so that doesn't help) I'm not sure if the cracked stem on the adapter is the cause of the suction not working and the vacuum getting"stuck" but it's certainly frustrating. Probably going with a wireless/hose-less vacuum for the future. Meanwhile I have to attempt to get this one to work.

Flow clear pool vacuum
Worked for a few days. Cleaned everything out I purchased a bigger pump to support it and it just doesn’t drive. Waste of money would not recommend.

Will not work with Heyward skimmer
We bought thinking it would work with our new Heyward skimmer that is bolted to the side of our 22ft above ground pol with out Intex sand pump. It does not work at all. Will not suck enough water through the hose to get it to move. We almost burnt up our pump. Do not buy this product. The instructions are the worse I have ever see as well.

Junk dont buy!
Bought 2 weeks ago tried so many time to get it to work wouldn't move no matter what we did! Directions suck!

Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so easy to assemble and it attached on great to out above ground pool. As a stay at home mom with three small kids and husband at work I really enjoyed that he can just put the pool cleaner in the morning and start the cleaning process and once and the boys want to get in the pools already cleaned out. That was the big pro for us and before we had to clean it the old way by hand. I also really like the bristle brush on the bottom to really help pick up and the dirt an debris. The compartment that collects all the trash is also easy to clean so I would definitely recommend the pool cleaner.

It took me some time to figure out how to hook it up the proper way. I got frustrated for sure. It seems like it is cleaning debris off the bottom but it’s not very user friendly and I don’t have the patience to fiddle with this all day long.

Great cleaner for any size pool

Nice pool vacuum

It worked decently well with minimal effort on my part. Easily connects to my pool filter and the vacuum propels around the pool and does the work. The handles make it easy to pull out.

I used to dread cleaning the pool multiple times a week, and now I don’t have to! I let the Aquadrift do all the work for me. I like how there are handles on it so it’s easy to lift out of the pool. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Flowclear AquaDrift Automatic Pool Vacuum Cleaner is the perfect addition to our pool. This makes it easy to clean our pool. Setup was a breeze, just connected it to the filter pump and it moves on it's own propelled by this across the bottom of the pool cleaning as it goes. This picks up dirt and sand from the bottom of the pool. It had no issue reaching all ends of my pool and cleaning the entirety. It has handles for easy carrying as well. This is an absolute necessity for pool owners and so much easy than using a handheld pool vacuum! Highly recommend

Time saver

Confusing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vaccume does an okay job but I wouldn't recommend it. The instructions are confusing. It hits a wrinkle in the pool and stops or worse turns the spout and blows dirt the other direction. Might not be bad if you're constantly watching it...

We have an approximately 30' above ground pool and very sandy ground surrounding it. Hopefully this will help keep it clean.

Looks Like a Lawnmower

I will say I think it is really cute as it looks like a lawnmower or little car. My husband uses an automatic cleaner, but it is smaller than this one so we are hoping it covers a larger area in a quicker amount of time.
