Great shave... I'm convinced!!
Great product: keeps my skin tight and with a beautiful sheen after shaving. I don't know if this is especially developed for "Black skin" because I think anyone could use it and have a positive outcome. It contains some of the best ingredients for a good shave. Only wish Target stocked it more- they seem focused on Harry's products. Also, the price is higher- is that dur to higher quality ingredients or because it’s a smaller business and doesn’t have a scale yet? I don’t know.

Smells great, doesn't work well
I've tried 12 different types of shaving cream in the past year, primarily for fun but also to find the best product possible. This Belvel cream is not it. And wow, is it expensive considering it doesn't work well. The product feels nice and smells great (citrus and spice), but as another reviewer mentioned, it just doesn't lather very well. Even after using a brush and applying a liberal amount, the skin doesn't feel coated and the razor doesn't glide well. Now, I use a Mach 3 razor and not a Bevel razor, but that shouldn't matter. There are many other cheaper brands out there that do a better job. Check out Pacific Shave Company if you like this product's smell - it has a similar scent but does an amazing job at lathering (one of the best products I've tried.)

Hopeful but disappointed
Bought both the bevel brush and shaving cream. Terrible lather properties of the cream. The bottle lasted all of six shaves. Also, each time used resulted in multiple razor nicks (haven’t suffered these this I was a teenager). I’ve gone back to using the Gillette foamy cream.

Great Scent/Great feel ...
I received this complimentary product in exchange for my unbiased product review. Generally speaking, I typically prefer the shaving creams that are either thick, OR that become think after rubbing into the skin. While the Bevel shaving cream was thinner than I typically use, I actually might prefer it to what I normally use, as it provided a very smooth shave, without all the excess cream, and I really prefer the scent. It kind of makes the shaving experience a little better, and a bit more refined.

i received a free sample of the shave cream in return for writing a review. it comes in a nice little bottle, but when shaving in the shower, i sometimes found it difficult to unscrew the cap with wet or slippery hands. the cream is intended to be used in conjunction with a lather brush. unfortunately, i was not provided a brush, so used it without. it did the job well enough, although i don't know that it worked any better than other shaving creams/gels. perhaps with the brush it would have been better.

Great shaving cream!
The Bevel Shave Cream is absolutely superior to the foaming gel that I usually get. Don’t let the size of the bottle fool you. A small amount goes a long way and feels great on my skin. It lathers really nicely into a thick foam that offers plenty of lubrication for the razor I could feel the blade sliding across my skin more smoothly with this than with shaving gel. I really like the Bevel Shave Cream and would recommend this product.

Awesome shaving system
I have tried different ways of shaving over many years, but the Bevel shaving system is the one I swear by because of the great shaves and the clear and smooth skin I enjoy after every shave.
