I have been vegetarian for twelve years. Although I don’t depend on meat substitutes for protein I love to have the option. I wanted to make steak and rice, I seasoned the steak with Soyaki seasoning and sesame oil. The texture for me was just weird. The taste wasn’t bad I don’t know if it really had one, which is nice because you can make it your own. I’m not encouraging anyone to not try it, because I think if you have an inkling for steak it might just float your boat. I personally liked the steak by “eat meati”

I love steak so bad and had to cut it off since I went vegan. I tried this and seasoned it like I seasoned my regular steak and was instantly impressed. My 8 year old and my 1 year old loved it too !

I am a meat eater. I love my meat but I actually eat vegan and vegetarian meals quite regularly. I’ve tried many, many vegan protein meat substitutes and have liked many of them and I continue to purchase them. This one is the best I’ve eaten. I absolutely love it! And it’s quite versatile from tacos to chili to tips with mushroom wine sauce and beef stroganoff. It’s now my go to for most all ground/small chunk beef recipes. I gave it only four stars because of the gluten content and the price point.

So Its supposed to be SIMILAR to steak not necessarily taste like it a lot of ppl think that don’t it’ll ruin the experience… but If you know how to season its pretty good, and to me It has a better texture then expected. I assumed it would be similar to like tofu blocks not at all

I can't figure out what people are tasting here - it didn't taste like anything to me or my mom. I used them in a few different dishes, and they don't really have any flavor of their own, just whatever you season/serve them with. There's a place for that in a meat substitute, if you're just looking to add protein to a meal, but if you're actually expecting steak flavor, you may be disappointed. For the price, there are better vegan proteins for sure.

So good! Probably one of the brand’s better products. I use these a lot in stir fries, fried rice, etc. A friend of mine didn’t even realize I was using a plant based substitute

Smells great, flavor itself is good, but the texture is awful. Imagine chewing a piece of cheap steak for 10 minutes, and then spitting it back onto your plate.

I don’t mind smother Beyond products but their burgers and grounds have a very specific smell/taste. This was so different and so good. I love that it is packed with protein too. as long as you aren’t gluten free, you should stock your freezer with this

The title says it all. If I didn't know these were plant based, I would have been surprised to learn they were. The first time I tried them I followed the instructions exactly. They came out too chewy. I guess it's a matter of taste but the next time, I cooked them in a cast iron skillet for a couple of minutes longer and I was very pleasantly surprised. They were delicious. I now look for them whenever I go shopping! I've already started planning several different recipes with this wonderful Beyond Steak Seared Tips!
