The BIC® Ecolutions™ mechanical pencil has a barrel made from 65% recycled plastic and the paperboard used in this packaging is made up of 100% recycled content. Breaks easily
I purchased this item because it is made with recycled materials and the colors are nice. I am not thrilled with the lead though. The lead breaks a lot when I use it so this is a down side. Unsure why this is happening. I probably will order the normal Bic mechanical pencils next time since they do not break as easily.

Good working pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these and they are very nice. The loading of the lead easy extremely easy and the pencil is comfortable to hold and use. As far as mechanical pencils go, this one is worth the extra cost. It’s not made from some cheap plastic either.

Regular old school pencils became a chore to get sharpened so we found the mechanical pencils. The 7 mm lead is great. It is just the right strength to write nicely and not break easily. The grip is good for proper technique.

The pencils are made with 65% recycled plastic and even the package is made from recycled materials. I will definitely try other bic ecolutions products.

I didn't get the scratchy sound and feeling that I can get with some mechanical pencils. The lead in this pencil also does not break easily. It was comfortable in my hand when writing for longer periods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are fantastic mechanical pencils. They are nice, bright, unisex colors and they are well made. I have three kiddos at home. My older two are doing "E-learning" and I am homeschooling my preschooler. My older two love these pencils. They both said they last forever and are nice and sturdy. Additionally, with My preschooler, normally I have him use regular pencils because he presses hard and tends to break lead on mechanical pencils. However, these pencils work really well for him and he has not broken lead! These are great pencils and I highly recommend them. I even enjoy using them myself! The lead writes really nicely and it's nice and dark! Great pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely like mechanical pencils over regular lead ones you have to sharpen. These work just fine but compared to others I have and have used in the past, I didn't care for the pencil itself. It doesn't feel as sturdy as others I have used but with that being said, I've been using them a few weeks and haven't had any issues with them breaking or not holding up. I like the multi colors of them and they look sharp. The lead is good and thick (.7mm) and I've not had any issues with breakage or snapping off while writing. The erasers work well too. I do like that they have a clip on them so I can clip one to my notebook or papers. However, you cannot clip anything thicker than maybe 10 pages or I would be afraid the clip would snap and break. Overall, a decent pencil.

We use pencils a lot and love mechanical, but hate plastic waste when they get broken. These are made from 65% recycled plastic, which is amazing!
