Black & Decker BEMW472BH 120V 10 Amp Brushed 15 in. Corded Lawn Mower with Comfort Grip Handle

The height level broke after the first mow. I was in the middle of the second and it started scraping the ground and I noticed the selector was on 1. I tried to adjust but it was out of place somehow and wouldn't slot back in right. I messed with it long enough to get it into place enough to finish, but found it broken again when I went out for 3rd use.

It cuts fine and is fairly lightweight but due to a bad design, the bag falls off when only a quarter full. Also noted, it's probably okay if you have a square or rectangle lawn, but a lawn that has an odd shape with in-and-out areas is a challenge with the cord.

When I am trying to plug this to power, I have noticed that we need large cable. They didn't recommend any matched cable while ordering and we don't know until the package arrives that we need a large cable for this to work.

This mower is a powerhouse! Cuts great lawn and dense weeds alike. I love the performance but my blade came off and I need the screw to hold it back on the mower. I can’t find the part#

This mower is perfect for a smaller yard, I was using a manual push mower but here in Oregon it just slides over the grass in spring and fall. This B&D mower is light weight, has a foldable handle and it does what I need, cuts the grass simply and easily every time. It doesn't have to be expensive or have a million adjustments to be good, this mower is just very good.

I like how light it is in a way but when I try to put the extension cord on it the thing tips over. I would also like to have had another hole to lower the handle bars because I have carpal tunnel and arthritis in my hands and it hurts to hold the handle bars up while keeping it running.

I bought mine last March 2023 and I used it less than 10 times and now I cannot adjust the lever . It is set to the thinnest height. I try to adjust it to make it at least 2 inches but I cannot . What should I do ?

I bought one of these a few years ago and it was fine the first summer of use (used it maybe 10 times, if that). Early in the second summer, I hit a small rock and it resulted in more catastrophic damage to the underside than I thought should have happened for such a relatively normal occurrence while mowing. The housing containing the belt was cracked and the machine was no longer operable. I wrote the company and sent pics and they did send me a brand new machine as it was still under warranty. It just went to mow my lawn for the first time this summer and hit a bump that knocked the belt off again. I tried to fix it but damaged a bolt trying to do so and now I can’t use this one. I really like the mower, but it seems unable to handle anything beyond a small flat lawn. I would not describe the areas mine sustained damage as rough terrain by any means. For that reason, I doubt I will be buying another one like this.

Bought this mower recently. When I took it out of the box I thought it was a toy. I had my doubts and still have to see if it stands the test of time. I used it one time so far and I have to admit is did cut my grass ok. I didn't use the bag and you will need to lift the back flap to clean the area as the grass clogs easily. You have to do this often during the lawn cutting. Kinda makes it more labor intensive. If you do no keep the back area clean and clear your motor will be strained and the motor will burnout. I also set the height on the highest setting as it would be tough on the motor at lower settings. Overall my first cut went ok. Time will tell how long this mower will last. But it did cut my lawn. I use a 100' cord. And on a positive note the mower is very lightweight.

I purchased a Black & Decker electric lawn mower from them 2 1/2 months ago. The first one stopped working after 6 weeks. They wanted to replace it and I said it is a design flaw and we will be back here again in 6 weeks. Well I was wrong it was only 4 weeks. These products are made of plastic. It felt like a toy when I pulled it out of the box. If you are smart you will avoid these products.

Don’t like how quick dye’s out. I cut my back yard and could not finish, and it’s a small/medium size yard. I had to use the weed eater, then try mower again.

Works great on my small yard. My only issue is there weren’t any screws included to secure the handle to the body and a few times mine slipped out so I had to turn it off and fix it. I can’t get replacement screws because the only option is full refund.

Assembly was more difficult than I expected so I’d recommend someone helping you. The instructions are fine and there aren’t that many parts but none of the screws wanted to do what they were supposed to. It’s a little back heavy with the grass catcher on, but other than those things it’s pretty handy for the price. Works well for my small/medium yard!

I bought this lawn mower on May 2, 2020 and it is very easy light weight and easy to handle

I have 2 8x20 front lawns used a trimmer before this cuts nice & even plenty of power perfect 4 my situation

Electric Lawn Mover is good machine because it is very light that is very importanf for Seniors movers; it is easy to clean that save time and fatigue.

purchase this to replace one that i had for years....missing parts...but that was fixed immediately ...love mower actually used grass catcher and love it ...great mower for older person lite and electric......so no gas and oil.....easy to use
