Q: Is this product leak proof? I am worried that it may leak through the straw area when I am shaking the drink. Thank you!

A: Mine did leak. Everywhere. But overall reviews say that if you remove the straw it does not. I think I might have had a faulty one.

submitted byL - 4 months agoA: With the straw removed and the seals checked, it does not leak. Shake as needed then put the straw in. Once you do that you break the seal and it would leak like a normal tumbler with straw.

Works great as a shaker with the straw removed. No clumps or leaking. Once you put the straw in, of course it could leak just like any tumbler with a straw. I purposely left it dirty overnight to test and was still easy to clean.

I'm gonna be honest it's not all that it's cracked up to be. The ball snapped on second use so now it's just a glorified tumbler. 10/10 wouldn't recommend. In my personal opinion their plastic versions are better.

In theory this cup is the best of both worlds. I bought it to drink my protein coffee in the morning, but ended up returning because of poor execution. The blender ball is thick plastic which didn’t mix the protein into milk very well. The lid is so horribly designed, with a million nooks and crannies for protein powder to get stuck and it was so hard to clean. In fact there were parts of the lid that were impossible to clean. I recommend sticking to the regular blender bottle and using a separate cup for anything like protein coffee.

Took the straw out. Went to mix my protein shake. Liquid flying out everywhere. There are two fail points even without the straw in. How is this a blender bottle for mixing powdered protein?

This stainless steel shake tumbler excellent. I particularly appreciate the practical design, which offers the convenience of a straw that can be used or not used. The leak proof when the straw is not use is also an advantage. It does a great job of keep my drinks cold, and it’s very easy to clean. I also find the Sahara sunset color very beautiful!

This cup is NOT LEAK PROOF!!!! I don't know how there can possibly be any reviews saying differently. These are not honest. Leaked everywhere, no matter what I did. I was really excited for this cup, but it's not functional at all.

This is so nice it's a tumbler and a mixer cup all together. It does wonderful with my protein shakes. The lid is easy to open and close. It does not leak when you use it without a straw. The liquid inside stays cold for hours. It is really sturdy and has measurements inside the cup. It is also a breeze to wash and dry the cup.

BlenderBottle 24oz Stainless Steel Strada Straw Tumbler, Sea Glass color is a sturdy water bottle coming with a cute blender ball. The inside of the bottle has measuring scales, so it’s easy to combine each ingredient. The blender ball works just fine. All parts, including the blender ball, can be washed in a dish washer. The bottle mouth is big enough to reach to the bottom by hand and wash thoroughly with a sponge which I like. Stainless steel can hold the drink temperature cold for long time!

I got this shaker bottle not realizing what exactly it was, thinking I could use it for smoothies, but it turns out it is for protein shakes so the protein powder doesn’t clump up or sink to the bottom. That is the purpose of the ball. I don’t drink protein shakes so I can’t speak to that, butit is excellent for reconstituting a smoothie that has started to separate! It is a nicely made product, very sturdy and well constructed. I received this product from Target’s Hey Bullseye program for free in exchange for my honest review.

I actually love this thing. I've been making protein shakes with it. It took me a minute to figure it out but once I did it's been a breeze. It's very convenient. Super easy to clean since it's stainless steel. Loved it.

I tried this shaker bottle with a protein powder that usually has issues fully dissolving in a normal shaker bottle. I added the usual amount of powder (33 grams) and 12 ounces of water, shook for about 30 seconds, and then let it sit for about 2 minutes. I used the straw to drink the protein shake and I didn’t notice any clumps, which solves the issue that most other shaker bottles seem to have. I didn’t experience any leaks when shaking the bottle, it has a good seal. The opening for the straw is nice because it’s spring loaded and automatically closes when the straw is removed, allowing you to drink directly from the cup without using the straw. Overall, it’s a great cup that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It is well made, insulated so it will keep my protein shakes cold longer, doesn’t leak, and provides different ways to consume the contents depending on how you prefer to drink.

This is a 2-1 shaker and cup. The straw can be taken out and then closed so if you shake it it won’t spill anywhere. It has a twist off top and a sliding spot for the straw hole or not. It comes with a ball to shake it with. Very cute color. It’s my go to now! Protein shakes easy for ready for morning drive to work. I use it for my refill water cup after the protein.

This is a great cup and I love it, and if you love to make protein shakes or any drinks that have powder added the "ball" included with this cup does a fantastic job making sure you don't have a lumpy drink. The measurements on the inside are very helpful too! We have even used it with our blended fruit smoothies.
