I bought this because I had one house project to complete & didn’t want to spend a ton of money, but I should have invested a bit more than $30 on a saw... or just done more research. I barely completed my project. The blade is extremely dull & I had to turn the speed all the way up to cut through the wood, but this gave me less control than I needed and my lines were very jagged. Oh well. I guess this saw is fine if you only need to cut through a piece of paper, otherwise go to a home improvement store & get a nicer one.

Does the job at a great price. The only problem is once the vacuum attachment is latched in, it’s impossible to take off, and blocks the ability to change the angle.

For those who don't know, blueridge is made by some very good and smart designers and a great company positech who makes some very high quality tools like worx and Rockwell.. and blueridge is right there along those lines.. great jigsaw, powerful and accurate!

Lots of good power and control. One issue, the safety button kept getting stuck so when I would let go of the trigger, it would still go. Maybe just a fluke with mine, but could be dangerous.

Convenient to have around the house. My previous jigsaw was from the 50’s (!) and it was time to upgrade. I rarely have a need but it is nice to have on hand for when I need something cut.

This is a great jig saw for a home handyman. changing the blades was super easy and it powered through 1/2'' plywood with ease. I was worried that 4.5 amps would be too weak, but it flew through the plywood in the fast setting. I received this product for free as part of a review program.

Excellent jig saw. Uses T-Shank blades which are extremely easy to change. Like the speed control mounted on the saw head and not in the trigger. Has features that made the jig saw seem more expensive than it is.

This jig saw is awesome! You definitely can’t go wrong with this for doing small DIY stuff around the house. I used it to do some laminate flooring around my house and was surprised at the quality of cut from a jigsaw this affordable! I've used other jigsaws from other brands and they just don't perform as well as this guy. This was a great value buy and I would definitely recommend it.
