Bogs Footwear Holly Chelsea Women's Rainboots

I have a pair of Bogs snow boots that I love, so I just ordered the same size for these rain boots and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and I wear them a lot to walk the dog as we get a lot of wet weather so I appreciate the substantial tread on them too.

Little bit rough on the legs at first so wear with tall socks. Other than that, they are elbows up in every category :)

I got these boots for gardening. I wanted a pair that I could hose off without soaking through, and indeed, I can do that, which is great. I don't love the shape of the soles. I feel they are somehow very unstable, though I can't pinpoint why that is. I have rolled my ankle numerous times wearing these around my yard. What I dislike the most is how hard these rub the back of my legs. Even with thick socks they rub so hard my legs are on their way to raw after wearing and will burn in the shower. I have other Chelsea boots and I know that some running is a little bit of a hazard with the style, but unlike my other, leather pair, I don't think these will ever break in or loosen up. And my goodness, it just really hurts.

Initially loved them - the design and price point seemed great, but after only a few wears it became clear that they really do not perform as advertised. The pull on loop de laminated almost right away. However the major issue is the dampness! Rubber boots have one job which is to keep feet dry - these do not do that. I don't know if my boots are defective and both have leaks or if the dampness is due to sweat. They are supposed to be moisture wicking, but my socks are WET after each wear. I have never encountered this issue with rubber boots in the past. Even after a short 15 minute walk I have to remove insoles and stuff the entire boot with newspaper to absorb the dampness before the next wear. But somehow they always feel damp! So disappointed. I love the companies ethics and the recycling program they offer, and I tried to make these work, but at the end of the day the dampness issue is uncomfortable and completely impractical.

While the boot looks cute and I know would have worked for the purpose I bought it for, they were too narrow for my feet.

Very comfortable and waterproof. True to size. I have two different colors and love them.

Very comfortable to wear but a bit difficult to pull them on as my boot does not just slip on. I must wriggle and pull them on in a sitting position.

Shoe looks and functions just fine, with one problem—there's a lump in the footbed near the edge of the shoe that you begin to feel after walking for half an hour or so. It's only in one boot, so seems to be a defect. It does get annoying.

I really like the boots I purchased but after 1 week and only wearing them a few times the back loop pull ripped off, that was disappointing. Otherwise the fit is nice and I like the colour. Will have to try and fix them with glue??

Overall it's exactly what I wanted -- I can walk in it, it won't overheat for warm-but-not-sandal-weather, and the orange color gets so many compliments. My only complaint so far is that the top is stiff and rubs painfully against my lower calf. Other reviews have said that will break in with a few wears, so I'm padding with socks and leg warmers for now and hoping for the best.

These are the only rubber boots I have ever liked. They are so comfortable and cushy! I went a size up so I could thick wool socks with them when needed

I really like these boots. They are a little stiff to walk in. I had to get inserts to avoid having my foot slip around. You'll have to wear tall, thick socks with them to avoid having them rub on your ankle, but they are great in light snow, rain conditions. They look like good quality which is nice for when I'll have to hose them down after muddy enviornments.

I use the boots to take my dogs for walks when it's raining - I just recently purchased them, so I'm sure they will come in handy at other times as well.

My only complaint is that they are narrow around the ankle so unless you wear higher socks or tuck your pants in they can rub and be uncomfortable.

Very comfortable and light. Love the style and will wear for a long time.

BUT the style is quite difficult to get my feet into them.I am a senior and the elastic on the sides make it quite hard to put my feet in, even with the hook up at the back.
