Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breast - Frozen - 4lbs - Good & Gather™

Very economical in terms of pricing. But that’s about it. Sometimes the 4 pounds of chicken is made up of 3 chicken breasts, one or two gigantic ones with smaller sized ones. When I’m making dinner for two, a single chicken breast is too much when it weights 1.5 pounds alone. Point of buying frozen chicken breasts to me would be to be able to buy in bulk but not worry about it all going bad. You should be able to thaw out what you need. And then yes, other reviewers are right. Some of the chicken breasts end up frozen together. And that’s coming right out of the Target freezer section. Not them thawing a little on the ride home and then refreezing stuck together. And TBH, there is a noticeable taste difference between at least Target brand frozen chicken and fresh chicken breasts. BUT if budget is what someone needs more than anything, then I would recommend this. It’s not horrible tasting. Just definitely would need some seasoning and flavor to drown out that frozen/not fresh taste.

This was a 4lbs package of chicken breast. It contained 3 breast halves, each weighing more than 1 lb. These chickens must have been force fed heaps of corn and growth hormones to be this big and fat!

Incredibly salty. Seems like they're brined prior to freezing or something. Every recipe we've tried to make with them has been inedible. Good quality otherwise, but I thought I was getting plain frozen chicken breasts when I bought plain frozen chicken breasts, not chicken breasts so salty that no one in my family could stand to eat them.

All freezer burned and frozen together. Can’t even use it.

Only 3 breasts in the package. Second time this has been the case. What am I going to do with only 3?!?!

The chicken had similar quality to other frozen chicken breast packages sold by target. The one thing I'm wary of is the price. The smaller size of frozen chicken breast is $9 for 2.5 lbs. This is $15 for 4 lbs. That's $3.60/lb for the smaller pack and $3.75 for the larger one. The chicken is fine, but going forward, I'm not going to spend more per lb just to get a bigger bag.

Quality is fine but can we address the SIZE of these. Absolutely absurd. You’re telling me I bought a 4 pound bag and got 3 chicken breasts. They are massive! Literally the size of a quarter baking sheet. The recipe on the back of the bag says to use half the bag, there are three pieces in here the literal size of my head.

Very inconsistent sizing - giant size and small size in the same bag. I know they aren’t all identical but there shouldn’t be two breasts over 16 ounces each with two breasts that are 2 ounces each in the same bag.

There was literally three pieces of chicken in this bag. Granted, they were three huge pieces so it did equal 4 lb, but the chicken was so big it took forever to thaw and no way of making smaller portions. frustrating if you're trying to get more than 3 servings of of it. Once it was thawed, the chicken was tasty.

I bought this 4lb bag and received FOUR chicken breasts. Each breast was huge and couldn't be cooked well in the original form. I had to defrost them and cut them down to more reasonable serving sizes to cook properly. Wouldn't recommend.

I typically buy the (2.5)lb bag but saw this (4.0)lb bag and thought I’d stock up… Instead of getting a larger quantity of normal-sized chicken breasts, this bag included just FOUR massive pieces of meat from what I can only assume was a family of pterodactyls (photo shows one piece from each bag). If you’re planning on chopping up the meat or just enjoy eating a single (1)lb serving of meat at time, this is the bag for you. Otherwise, maybe buy two of the smaller bags.

Every chicken breast in this package was covered in freezer burn. It was impossible to see this through the colored packaging before opening. I just bought it yesterday and took it straight home to the deep freezer. When I got it out to use today, I had to cut the outsides off of every breast to get rid of a complete casing of dried white freezer burn. I had no time to go back to the store as it’s NYE. I’m still not sure they will be edible.

These chicken breasts were huge! There were only 3 breasts in the 4 lb bag. I hope I never run into a living chicken this size. There’s no good way to cook chicken breasts that big.

Chicken is not good at all. Very rubbery. I tried it in two different dishes and had to spit it out.
