I love the removable support pillow to put exactly where extra comfort is needed. The stay-put design means I don’t have to worry about it sliding all over the bed and chasing it while I sleep. It is hard to find a comfortable place to get and stay while pregnant but the shape and fullness of this pillow makes it super easy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best. Pregnancy. Pillow. Ever. This is my third pregnancy and my third pregnancy pillow. I’ve had the C shape, the U shape, and now the full body side sleeper one and I can confidently say at 34 weeks pregnant the side sleeper is the most comfortable one. First, I love how it’s not huge and bulky and it’s easy to store in the bag it came in. This made it so easy to travel with too! I love how the cover is machine washable. My favorite feature though is the side pillow for my belly. It provides the best support and makes sleeping much more comfortable! Even when I switch to sleep on my other side in the middle of the night, I can use the long part to prop up my belly and the side pillow for some lower back support. I sleep SO much better compared to a few weeks ago when I was still using the U shaped pillow. I love how I can easily adjust it to fit between my legs too. I’ve only used the pillow for sleeping, but I can also see it being useful during those late night nursing sessions. I managed to make it through most of my second trimester without one, but eventually gave in. And now, I have to admit that I am a convert. At first, it took some getting used to the size of the pillow, as I wasn't used to having something so large taking up space in my bed. But after about a week, I fell in love with it. Here's what I liked most about it, and where I think there might be some drawbacks. Loved: - Lightweight pillow - didn't feel heavy or bulky. - Cool to the touch even after a long hot night - a must for this hot sleeping momma. - Long side and mostly open side - this allowed me to face the mostly open side towards the edge of the bed making nighttime bathroom trips must easier. I tried other pillow set ups but they always made me feel like I had to hurdle a mountain every time I got up. - Removable washable cover - this was really easy to do and there wasn't any shrinkage after washing and drying. - Versatile - since this is pretty lightweight, I found it fairly easy to adjust throughout the night if I was needing more back support vs. more hip support. Potential Drawbacks: - It's large - this fits great in my king bed with plenty of room still for my husband, but we did take this on a trip and it was much tighter of a squeeze in a queen. May not be the best choice if you have a queen bed and have to share the space with a partner. - A-symmetrical design - I listed this under the pros for me, but if you're a flipper and want the same sleeping "experience" on both sides, that's not going to be the case here. All in all, I really have enjoyed the Full Body Side Sleeper Pillow and think that I'll probably be using this right up until the end... maybe even after. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We all know how important good sleep is during pregnancy and this Boppy Full Body Side Sleeper Pillow has been helping me get some awesome rest! I received it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and am so glad I did! It quickly supplanted the pregnancy sleeper pillow I had used for my previous two pregnancies. I love its compact design, that it allows me to use my pillow to rest my head on, and that it helps keep me on my side during sleep. My overall impression of the pillow is that it is stylish and super functional. It can be used in multiple positions - for propping you up on an incline, to support you on your side whether it is resting in front or behind you, and even under your legs to help elevate your legs and feet. Unlike, my prior pregnancy pillow which was super long and hard to stow away, this one is much more compact and easier to fold and store. Its stylish pattern gives it a modern and aesthetically pleasing look. I love that it has a fabric section that goes under you back/chest area with a pillow on its end to help keep you on your side while sleeping. Lastly, my favorite feature is that it is a bit shorter than my prior pregnancy pillow and allows me the option to easily use my pillow for my head in conjunction with the side sleeper supporting my body. It is very comfortable and supportive and super easy to adjust. I have been using it every night and will definitely be using it postpartum to support me when reclining, feeding the baby, and sleeping. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At this moment, I am nearly 38 weeks pregnant with my 6th kiddo. The number of pregnancy pillows I have tried over the past 12 years are numerous. I could never find one that worked for me. I settled with one that took up half my bed (sorry hubby!) and still was only mediocre in the support it provided, but I was never really happy with it. This pillow is not 100% perfect, but it is a solid 90%. I love how versatile it is--you can use it in a number of different ways, and even use it past pregnancy. I have used it during the day when I am working on my laptop by wrapping it around my waist (as they have pictured on the website and packaging) with the side pillow between my legs. It allows for a very comfortable support, although I will say it doesn't wrap quite as far at nearly 38 weeks pregnant as it did even at 35 weeks pregnant when I got it. The growing belly makes it a bit tougher, ha, but I think it will be beyond useful after delivery too. When using this at night, I have found the key is to pair it with a pillow you already love and truly use this as a body pillow. When I tried to lay my head on the top of this pillow, I found it wasn't quite long enough to get between my legs which is surprising since I am only 5'3". However, if I use it as a body pillow and start it around my chest area, it's perfect! I like to lay my head on my regular pillow and then lay in the middle between the long body pillow and the support pillow. If I start off the night on my left side (where I place the long body pillow) I wedge the support pillow against my back, wrap my arms around the top quarter of the body pillow, and then tuck the pillow between my knees and put my calf aligned against the pillow by having my feet at a 90 degree angle. When I'm ready to roll over in the middle of the night--my hips absolutely do not let me stay on one side all night long--it's as simple as rolling to the right so my tummy is now wedged above the support pillow, the long pillow is against my back, and then I pull the pillow through the back of my legs between my thighs and again put my legs at a 90 degree angle. This leaves my feet sticking past the long piece of the pillow, but is so comfy! This pillow is the perfect amount of soft and supportive. I don't like when things are too firm, I definitely prefer some give. This pillow has that. The cover is also ridiculously easy to wash. My 2 year old son leaked through his diaper while snuggling me one morning and I was so worried the pillow's case would never be the same. It took me maybe 2 minutes to pull out the large pillow and support pillow, then it was just a quick wash and dry with our other cotton clothes. Putting the support pillow back in was a bit intimidating at first, but you really can't do it wrong. I thought I had it wrong but it laid perfectly all on its own. Since I anticipate using this pillow postpartum, I am sure there will be a plethora of times I need to wash it from baby spit-up and accidents. I am relieved to know it's such an easy process. My husband also is a fan of this pillow because while it has a bit of size to it, it certainly doesn't take up our bed, nor does it prevent him from snuggling a bit if he wants. My only con to this pillow is that the space between the support pillow and the long body pillow is a bit wide, so the first few nights I used it I ended up on my back because it was wider than I am. This was a simple fix by wedging the support pillow a bit under my back proactively at night, but it definitely led to a bit of a back ache at the beginning. If you are looking for an easy to clean, supportive, and comfortable pillow to get you through your pregnancy- this is the one! I was so excited to test this pillow going into my third trimester. I was previously using a U-shaped pregnancy pillow which in my opinion does not compare in quality to the Boppy side sleeper pillow. There are many features that I value in this pillow. The support and cushion of this pillow provides me with full body comfort and support from head to toe. The support between my knees and ankles is extremely important to me at this stage of pregnancy and eases my pelvic (SPD) and sciatic pain during the night. The side pillow that rests behind my back helps to protect my baby by keeping me on my side and ensuring that I do not roll over on my back throughout the night. An added bonus is that the pillow’s neutral color and aesthetic fits in well with our room. Overall, the Boppy full body pillow is very versatile and I am looking forward to using this pillow postpartum as well. I highly recommend this pregnancy pillow for all mommas!

I love the support it gives for both my back and my belly, and also when using it to sit up in bed. I think it’s going to be very beneficial after I give birth for extra support when resting in bed. I have been using a regular body pillow, one that is a simple long rectangle, for many years now, including my first pregnancy. I received this pregnancy pillow during my first trimester. I am now in my second trimester. My thought is the pillow won’t become much different to a normal body pillow until my belly grows bigger and needs extra support. The way that I used the pregnancy pillow was similar to my normal body pillow. The pregnancy pillow is very fluffy, which was great, but rather than being rectangular, it has a few indents and curves, which I wasn’t a fan of. The pregnancy pillow also has an extra small pillow attached 3/4 of the way down on one side, which I found got in the way when not using it. This attachment can be used multiple ways, but again, I think both the attachment and the curves of the pillow will be better suited to my body as my belly grows and needs more support. I move around a lot while I sleep, and I shift from one side to another throughout the night. The pregnancy pillow was easy to adjust in the way that I ended up using it most. When I was trying out different positions, especially using the extra attachment, moving and adjusting the pillow throughout the night became a hassle though. If someone doesn’t move much throughout the night, I think this pillow would be great for them. If I were to use this pillow post pregnancy, I would probably cut off the extra attachment and essentially turn the pregnancy pillow into a fluffier version of a normal body pillow. Overall, using the pregnancy pillow was a learning curve compared to what I’m used to, but once I found what worked for me, it has been fine. I am interested to see how my opinion changes as my pregnancy continues and I need more pregnancy-specific support.

The Boppy Full Body Side Sleeper Pillow isn't your average support option. Thanks to the breaks in the pillow's design - the main portion of the pillow is divided into three sections - you can use this item not only for sleeping but also as general support in bed. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant with my second and this is the best body pillow I've found. The section breaks make it significantly more easy to use and maneuver than your typical pregnancy pillow. I find that I readjust it less overnight and am less inclined to accidentally hit my spouse when I do readjust it (whoops - IYKYK). The side pillow is a nice feature but I'm glad it's removable - it makes the overall product more versatile. As my pregnancy has continued I've used that feature less at night, if only to make it a little easier to move around. I've tried several pillows on the market across two pregnancies, and this one's ease of use, versatility and comfort put it at the top of the pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this body pillow surprised me. This was the first pregnancy pillow I have used even though this is my fourth pregnancy. I have always used regular pillows and just made it work as best as I could. With this pregnancy, I found myself very uncomfortable and struggled with sleeping comfortably. This pillow definitely helped make me feel more comfortable, particularly with the wedge that I could position under my belly, I really needed that extra support with this pregnancy, or behind my back to help with not sleeping on my back. The wedge is connected through a stay-put design which uses a stretch panel to keep the pillow in place, I never felt tangled or like the pillow moved as I slept. The rest of the pillow was also comfortable, however I personally would have preferred it to be more firm and longer (I’m 5’7” and prefer to have a pillow that extends all the way to my ankles). The pillow offers the versatility to position it in several different ways giving you the opportunity to find what works best for you. The wedge pillow can easily be tucked under the pillow or removed by opening the long zipper on the body pillow portion and pulling the pillow out and then the empty case for that portion can be tucked inside and stored away if not needed. This long zipper also allows for the pillow to be washed, which is a nice touch. I did notice that the long zipper would sometimes feel uncomfortable, and would have preferred for it to be covered with fabric, similar to the original Boppy nursing pillow covers. The pillow overall is filled in a way that there are three sections on the main body pillow, this easily allows for you to tuck your arms or knees comfortably around the pillow, or gives the pillow enough flexibility to move those sections into whatever position is needed. As someone who sleeps with a pillow between their knees every night, even when not pregnant, I could see myself continuing to use this pillow beyond pregnancy. Once baby is here, I look forward to trying this pillow in more supportive positions to use postpartum with nursing in particular. My overall impression of the pregnancy pillow that it had a nice overall design but it did have a strong packaging smell though. It was very comfortable but I struggled when it came to the support that it offered. I felt like I needed more on the side of the small pillow. It wasn’t as easy for me to adjust when it came for me to flipping to different sides. I can’t stay on one side for long periods of time so I was still struggling to sleep some. I still do intend on using it throughout pregnancy and see if I just get used to it. It still is comfortable so im not throwing in the towel yet. At this point, the pillow is just used for nighttime sleep. Once my baby is born, it might change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m on my third pregnancy here so I started to get uncomfortable sleeping way sooner than I did with my previous pregnancy. I started using my pregnancy pillow at 14 weeks and my sleep instantly improved. I went from being uncomfortable sleeping during the night and getting up to go to the bathroom 3 times(because im already awake so might as well) to being comfortable and only having to get up once to use the restroom. Its nice to be able to use this pillow no matter which direction I’m facing I will still have back support. It’s easy to adjust, which I usually do at least once during the night. I like how I can still use my regular pillow for sleeping or I can curve this pillow around and sleep on it instead. It’s very versatile which is great. I also like how it is more shaped to a regular body pillow so that I would still feel like I can use it even when I’m not pregnant. I like having things that are more dual purpose instead of using it for a few months and than storing it for next time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the pillow was noticing the smaller support pillow. I also liked the sleek design and look of the pillow. This body pillow supports the whole body. I am in my second trimester of pregnancy so laying down is starting to get less and less comfortable. With this pillow it is helping with that discomfort. I love the small support pillow because I put it under my bump and or against my lower back and feel so supported. Other pregnancy pillows I didn’t feel like my bump was support and my lower back was only supported in certain positions. The versatility of this pillow allows me to always find a comfortable position. I can see myself using this pillow after pregnancy and I like that if I don’t need the smaller support pillow I can store it away into the full body pillow. I also like how I can use my own pillow in addition to this pregnancy pillow. Since I am tossing and turning all night, I loved the stay put design. Although I was moving all night the pillow stayed how I put it unless I adjusted it. I also used this pillow for support while I was sitting in bed. I would wrap it around me to support my back and again it was so comfortable. The only con I have is that I do wish it was a little bit longer. There were some positions where if I had the pillow under my head I couldn’t put it between my knees so I would have to take some time to configure it to meet my needs where if it was just a little longer it would have been fine. Overall this is a great pregnancy pillow and offers so much support and doesn’t take up as much room as c shape or u shape pregnancy pillows. If a compact, comfortable, supportive, full body pregnancy pillow is what you are looking for that I highly recommended this one! The pillow is fluffy but not overly stuffed to the point it’s hard to move around. This makes it easy to get in and out of bed. I love the different positions you can use this pillow with, I can use this pillow with my own pillow for my head or adjust the Boppy one as a full head and body pillow. I also use this pillow to prop myself up and give myself lower back support. Overall, it’s a great versatile pillow for pregnancy and postpartum. It’s a great item to gift a family member or friend who is expecting.

Some have been great, fully supporting my belly, hips, and back… while others have completely missed the mark. This pillow is almost perfect! I love many things about it and am very grateful to be a Stellar Product Testing Panel member, which is how I came across this product. Pros: enough fluff and firmness, comes in a bag you can easily travel with (I did!), fits my body (I am 5’8), provided me with support while laying in bed and sitting/lying on the couch, and has a tag attached with pictures of how versatile it is. Cons: one side is only a small pillow that is permanently attached. This made it hard to get comfortable at times or when my kids wanted to snuggle and I couldn’t snuggle with them unless I tucked the small pillow with the other side. I do wish it was maybe a foot longer, for added length, but the length in general did not negatively impact my comfort and it made it easier to travel with. I will continue to use this pillow long after my pregnancy- for travel and sitting/laying on couches. I am a side sleeper and am always in need of hip support. I definitely recommend this pillow!

I received it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel during my 35th week of pregnancy and am so grateful for it. I am a first time mom and, prior to receiving this, I was using a small pillow option to offer additional support for my belly and back and it was not providing the proper support that I needed. It was difficult to get comfortable at night, and my sleep was struggling. This larger pillow is so much better and is allowing me to get comfortable and to sleep much better. The full body length is extremely helpful. I feel that was a big piece I was missing prior to using this full body pillow. I love being able to have the pillow in between my legs all the way down to my feet. I also love the smaller pillow that is connected that I put partially under my lower back and being me for back support. I like that I can even have the top part of the pillow in between my arms and hands for true full body support. I also love the versatility of this pillow. I can switch it up and use the long pillow piece down my back, still putting it between my legs and feet, and use the smaller pillow piece under my belly, which I prefer on the days and nights when my back is really bothering me. The option to use this pillow for support while sitting up is also incredible! I enjoy reading in bed and sitting up with this pillow for support behind my back and on each side of me is the comfiest I have been sitting during my entire third trimester! I am so happy with this pillow and highly recommend it to anyone else who is pregnant. I truly cannot think of any negatives when it comes to this pillow. It has been extremely helpful for me. My only regret is not getting this pillow sooner. I plan to use it post-partum, too!

Upon first impression the pillow has a soft cover, good fill, and decent size. The size is more manageable than other U shaped pillows I’ve used in the past that tend to fall off the bed on one side. The pillow does keep you in a side sleeping position and I appreciate the side pillow has some flexibility to either support your bump or your back depending on which side you’re laying. After trying it in a few configurations, I liked the curve side down by my feet the most to offer hip support between my legs. It’s very comfortable to sleep with and my only gripe is the filling gets a bit compressed where I place it between my legs. As a c-section Momma, I can see using the pillow during recovery from my surgery and creating a buffer between my incision site while holding baby. Bonus points, my toddler loves it too and enjoys curling up in it!

The third trimester of pregnancy, has made good sleep hard to achieve. Not with this pillow though. Ever since the first night of use, my sleep quality has greatly improved. I no longer wake up feeling tired and sore. This pillow offers great support for side sleeping. I use to toss and turn with my old pillow, but this one is like sleeping on a supportive cloud. I would recommend the Boppy Full Body Side Sleeper Pillow to pregnant ladies, or anyone who is looking for a supportive, comfortable pillow, to help them sleep throughout the night and wake up feeling rested.
