Boppy momkind Nursing Pillow - Taupe Gingham Check

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a third time mom and have gone through the evolution of Boppy nursing pillows during my almost five year long nursing journey. I received the Boppy Momkind Nursing Pillow in exchange for an honest review and I am beyond impressed. This is my new favorite version because of its sleek design- making it easier to put across the body one handed. It has the perfect balance of stiff structure but soft feel for comfort for both mom and baby. I have this nursing pillow right next to my rocking chair in my room and can easily access it for my overnight feeds. I can quickly put it across my waist and take it off in the dark while holding my daughter. I also like the compact size for travel because I was able to use it in the front seat of the car on our roadtrip over my older kid's fall break. The neutral color gingham print is relaxing on the eyes and is a great gender neutral option. My previous pillows had brighter, bolder prints and I am loving the more aesthetically pleasing pattern. I use my orignial Boppy Nursing pillow around the house where I can place the baby down before setting myself up and this new version is much better for on the go and one handed set up feeds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about the Boppy Momkind Nursing Pillow was it seemed big for being marketed as a travel nursing pillow. It is smaller than the original Boppy pillow but its firmness makes it seem bulkier. I prefer the softer version of the original because it’s easier to mold. This pillow complements the original Boppy pillow in that it is smaller. I found it was best used in my recliner since it fit perfectly. However it seemed too large to want to bring with me in the car or move around the house. I received this Boppy Momkind Nursing Pillow in exchange for my review and I would give it a 3 for the comments listed above.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little apprehensive for this pillow. I didn’t know how often I would grab it but it’s been great. Since it’s compact I was worried it wouldn’t fit great or not have enough support. It had both! I’m a curvier woman and I have another feeding pillow that just doesn’t fit great “around” me. This one hugs just right to fit flush and provide support to the baby. I used it most in my car and for travel to the grandparents house. It’s so easy and cute to keep in the car to have on hand. I love it for that! I dinged a point just because I wish it was just a little less firm, but I think that’s personally preference. I love the feel of the fabric and the print! I use it most often in the living room or when I’m out and need a quick feed—the smaller, compact size is perfect for grab-and-go moments and travel. It fits easily into my daily routine as the pillow I reach for when I don’t need the full support of my regular Boppy. The is really cute and neutral, and the overall design feels modern and lightweight. If you already have the classic Boppy, this version doesn’t replace it but definitely complements your setup. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this nursing pillow to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and was so excited to get it and use it for our newest edition. The pillow itself is very cute and doesn’t need a cover. We got the taupe gingham print and I feel like it’s universal regardless of what the gender of the baby is. Our baby is primarily formula fed, so everyone in the family likes to use this pillow for extra support when feeding the baby and holding her. It’s very easy to travel with and we use the rigid, clear plastic bag it came in when taking the pillow with us. This particular pillow is more of a half rectangle shape with shorter sides. I feel like the men in the family feel more comfortable using this pillow over the traditional boppy pillow. You can still use this for extra support when the baby needs extra support with tummy time. We actually prefer this smaller pillow and find it to be quite useful and the pillow we reach for when choosing one.

My little one is a year and a half now and we don’t really need a full on pillow anymore. So this is so handy for a quick nurse to get him to sleep! (Also saves my arm and his little head from getting sweaty). I absolutely love the classic timeless gingham print! It matches everything and is so subtle and simple. This pillow is more firm than my other nursing pillow and i actually really like it since he’s older and has more weight on him. It really holds him up nicely! And an added bonus It holds my arm up well while I crochet and feed him at the same time hehe! 10/10 recommend this pillow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just had a six-pounder and this smaller Boppy Momkind has become our go-to nursing pillow. The baby is a football hold (under the arm) baby and the smaller size allows for good support for this method of nursing (see photo for how nicely it fits around the waist and under the arm). The plaid fabric is perfect for our style as we prefer more neutral colors. The density of the pillow, along with the smaller size mentioned above, are both superior to larger nursing pillows. The design team of this pillow needs to be commended for recognizing that not all parents want a large pillow all the time. We will utilize a larger Boppy in the future, but for now this pillow we received from the Stellar Testing Panel is perfect-O! We would highly recommend purchasing the Boppy Momkind Nursing Pillow!

I have used it most at my parents house where I’m feeding him sat on a bed and need something easy to grab and use.. This is a great option I find when I need to be sitting on a bed vs a chair as it’s easy to move around/reposition. I think the pattern is super cute and neutral too. I also really like how there is easy zipper to take off the cover to wash it after spit ups or dribble outs. I also love there is a zipper access to the stuffing of the pillow so if you need to take some out or add some extra in it’s nice and easy to do. The pillow is pretty firm and I prefer a bit more give especially now my baby is bigger. But was easy enough for me to adjust the firmness. As a breastfeeding mom, I highly recommend incorporating this product into any breastfeeding routine. I found the Boppy Momkind Nursing Pillow to be very helpful in all circumstances where I would leave my typical feeding setup. I especially enjoyed using this pillow in the car and even for on-the-go moments within my house and while visiting other family members’ houses. I am constantly trying to feed my baby while caring for my two other children and this pillow made that process easier! This pillow is sturdy, supportive, and light enough to grab and move around quickly. I love the trendy look and feel of this product. I found the taupe gingham print very visually appealing. The overall design of this product made carrying this pillow around enjoyable. In my opinion, a matching pillow cover would make this product absolutely perfect. I am thrilled this pillow complemented the use and overall routine of my other Boppy nursing pillow, The New Boppy Nursing Pillow. My other pillow is on the heavier side. I admittedly do not take it on-the-go when my family is on the move. My baby’s grandparents also enjoyed using this pillow as a support pillow for holding my baby. They considered my other Boppy nursing pillow to be unhelpful as it was too cumbersome for them to adjust and carry. I certainly recommend this product. Boppy is a brand I know and trust. Boppy consistently creates attractive, functional and high-quality products. I am a SAHM who lives lige on a whim. I have a car packed with all my necessities. Having this pillow made nursing on the go so easy. I had the original boppy pillow which saved my nursing journey with my firstborn, this version is 10/10! The quality is superior. The cover is easily removable to throw in the wash and the pillow itself provides the perfect amount of stiffness to support the baby. You’ll never need another nursing pillow again.

Although I do love the original boppy, its much firmer, with longer side arms and a more square shape compared to the other ones. its firmness definitely helps when using it to nurse, but its also a great tool to use when pumping, so that I can lay back and have my pump parts supported. I do not have a photo to share but the difference in posture when using this pillow is superb! super happy with this product!

I was immediately impressed with the quality of materials and how firm the pillow seemed! I think it will hold up nicely to the extended and prolonged use that comes with breast-feeding! The fabric is perfectly gender neutral and timeless. I love that it zips off easily to wash as motherhood is messy! While supportive, it does have shorter arms to wrap around the mother’s body which makes it the perfect pillow for portability and feeds on the go. I feel like this pillow would be a great tool for a breast-feeding mom to add to her “tool belt!”

I’ve been using it mostly on the couch and for quick feeds because it’s small and easy to grab, and it’s great for tossing in the car. The taupe gingham print is really cute and fits in with all my baby stuff. The only downside for me is that this pillow is a lot firmer than my regular Boppy, which is more plush and comfortable for baby. Because of that, I use the Momkind more for back or arm support and to prop my arm during feeds rather than as the main pillow. Still, it’s been a handy little extra to have around.

The only thing I would love to see added is a small handle, since as a busy mom with hands always full, it would make grabbing it even easier. I often end up holding it by the tag or zipper. Other than that, it’s a wonderful, practical pillow that has truly made feeding easier!
