With regard to the flow, our slow (2S) flow nipple is designed to drip while inverted. In order to help your baby learn how to handle the flow, we recommend holding the baby in a more upright fashion and holding the bottle more horizontally to decrease the dripping. We hope this helps!     Loses suction very quickly

    Ugh I tried this pump after my other broke and am extremely disappointed. I used this pump 2 times before it lost its suction. It’s unusable now so I think I need to go back to Medela!

    Read instructions first

    Big fan! So much that I bought a second when I misplaced the first. Manual pump works really well, just be sure to read the instructions about the two modes and how/when to use them. Nipple for the bottle is the Lansinoh "S" size. Other size flanges are available, but the two included cover a wide range.

    Works great for a few days...

    I read the reviews about issues with suction after a few days, but a few other reviews said that it was user error, so I decided to give it a shot. I ended up loving it and this quickly became my main pump over my Spectra. I loved being able to control the suction and speed, and my pump sessions were much quicker than they were with my Spectra. I bought this on a Sunday and, unfortunately by Tuesday morning, I'd begun to lose suction. I noticed air bubbles and the suction/vacuum releasing on its own. I took it apart, made sure it was dry and everything was on properly, and tried again. Then, when the problem persisted, had my husband take a look as well. I'm pretty bummed about having to go back to my electric pump, but I can't spend $30 every few days for a new manual one. This seems like a known issue from the reviews that mention it, so you'd think they'd include an extra vacuum or offer for them to be purchased separately.

    Comfortable and great pressure

    This for me works wonderfully when it came to releasing being engorged without having to pump. Or it was great for let downs while breastfeeding. It was overall comfortable a gentle suction not to bad and easy to clean

    Works well, but I can see the confusion

    This is actually a really good pump and I think some of the poorly rated reviews have to do with operator error than the pump itself. I also experienced the loss of suction after the first time using/cleaning it but it was because one if the pieces fell off during the wash. I found it, put it back on, and it worked just as well as the first time. Secondly, the pump handle is adjustable so make sure you have that on the strongest setting always. It does/can move at times. The flanges do only come in two very large sizes (25mm and 30mm) but that hasn’t been a problem for my wife. But all said, keep track of al the parts and pay attention when assembling and you’ll be fine.

    A MUST try for every breastfeeding mom!

    The lansinoh manual pump is lightweight, portable and easy to use, I love the compact design, great milk storage capacity for a freshly postpartum mom and BPA-free materials. I had never pumped more than 2 oz of milk until I finally decided to buy and use this pump, it made such a difference for me. Perfect for on the go moms and everyday pumping day quick pumping. This definitely is optimizing my breastfeeding experience.

    Such a help in newborn latch learning curve

    This pump saved the day during our period of newborn latching struggles. We had an amazing latch day 1 but then introduced a pacifier and all went downhill. Baby was refusing to latch and if she did it was so painful. This manual pump was so gentle and amazingly I was able to extract actual milk (not just colostrum) for the very first time using this pump. The few mls that I saw in that bottle were very reassuring to see.

    Worked well… no replacement parts

    I have had this pump for two babies now and it is quick and efficient. It can squeak but it’s faster than an electric pump when I’m in a pinch. Downside… no replacement pieces!?!? Why not?? If I can’t replace parts the pump is useless to me.

    Current go to hand pump

    I prefer hand pumping over any other method, I love this one, comes with bigger flanges and storage lids which are super handy. Not the best suction but super comfortable compared to some. I also like the measurements on this one and feel they’re more accurate than some other brands.

    Perfection suction, 2 Suction settings , Super simple and easy to clean . Use it anywhere. Super comfortable to use with soreness and quicker than a mobile pump. I would highly recommend using this if you have a low supply or hard time with letdown .
