Every breastfeeding mom needs a Haakaa
I'm pretty simple when it comes to baby gear and feel like a lot is unnecessary. The Haakaa, however, is an absolute must have for breastfeeding moms. Being able to collect multiple ounces on the side you aren't feeding on is a great way to ensure you're not losing milk and it's easy to bag up and store for later.

Had one with my second baby. Wish I would’ve had one with my first. Got one to use with my third. Love how easy it is to collect milk from the breast that isn’t being nursed. Easy to poor into a storage bag or bottle for later.

Not a fan of this design
I have another Haakaa and I love it and use it a lot. I wanted this one as a back up and I like the idea of a lid and stopper. However this Haakaa has a ridge around the rim of the flange. My other Haakaa does not have this ridge. It has a completely flat flange. For whatever reason the Haakaa with the ridge is really uncomfortable to me and doesn’t collect near as much as the flat flange the Haakaa I’ve used. I’m bummed I spent so much on this when I probably won’t use it much at all. That said the stopper and the lid are great and they’re interchangeable between other Haakaas.

Not for me
Quite a few mom friends recommended the Hakka to me, so I was really excited to use it when I began my nursing journey. From the very beginning, my baby frequently kicked at it and it often lost suction and spilled, so it pretty much defeated the purpose. The nursing pads weren't my favorite either. I wish I would have gotten the ladybug collector instead.

Received different lid
Not due for another few wks so have not used but I didn’t get the same lid as pictured online. Everything else was the same as shown online the lid was silicone and grey but it didn’t have the pink opening slit which I imagine made it even easier to pour out your milk afterwards. Other than that looks good! I live in Utah not sure if what they have in the warehouses here are just old old who knows I had to order online Orr they don’t sell this whole kit inside any stores

Great kit. This item has helped with keeping my wasted milk at a minimum. I usually get about 15ML after a feeding or pump is dismissed by using this item. Very happy with it for for price. I have not used the lid or stopper yet.
