Get this if you want to spill milk everywhere mid newborn trenches

Good in theory but I also have significant issues with the functionality of this product. I had one good session and was able to obtain a good amount of milk, so I was extremely hopeful. However, each session after had not held up to standard — milk in the tube, switched tube and suction isn’t as strong. I really wanted to like this, but I fear it needs a revamp before it lives up to its potential.

I wanted to get another manual breast pump besides having the medela, first time using it today & I love it!! I got 6oz on each making 12 oz total. so far suction & comfort is great ☺️

Just bought this because my breasts was clogged and needed to pump asap! it's amazing and easy. First time mom and I had no issue! Just connect the silicone wire and you're good to go. So easy :)

I bought this as an inexpensive way to test out a wearable pump before using my insurance to get an expensive wearable. I hated pumping with the Spectra S1 with first baby. Being able to pop the wearable in your bra is way more convenient than having to put on a special pumping bra with a bottle hanging from your chest. I have tried 3 different flange inserts with this - a regular silicone insert, the Willow insert, & the Legendary Milk inserts. I like the Willow inserts with this the most. I do need pumping spray to not feel a pinching on my areola. *Note that I have been exclusively feeding at the breast and am only pumping to build a freezer stash for for times I will be separated from baby so I’m not worrying about output volume at this time. That said, I get more from this than with hand expression but have not used a traditional pump this time around so don’t have much for a comparison. As with most wearables, there are a lot of parts to clean and put back together correctly compared to traditional pumps.

I got this as a gift. When I realized I would need to pump before nursing my baby I got a second one so I double up to make it go faster. The first few times it worked fine. Then I got milk in ALL of my tubing (plus the extras). I contacted Willow support and they said they would give me a $10 voucher (1 new tube is about $13 which to me is crazy since the pump itself is $35). I also noticed when I took it off, milk would spill easily which was frustrating as a new mom postpartum trying to pump quick while your baby is eagerly waiting for their turn. Overall out $35 which is annoying, but more so the emotional side of it just is not worth it being a freshly postpartum first time mom and having to deal with the product not working effectively/easily and becoming unusable without the risk of bacteria getting into your milk.

I bought this yesterday and tried it right away. The moment I opened It I knew I made a mistake because the material felt very cheap. Once I put it into action I felt that the suction wasn't as strong as other manual pumps. And by the way it also leaks. I would definitely not recommend it. Save your money for something else!!

I was skeptical about buying because of some of the reviews about milk getting in the tube.. I did get milk in the tube but then realized if you take the blue incert out before you poor your milk you wont have that problem.. with that being said I absolutely love this and wish I bought the double, its so comfortable and easy to use!

Great idea but after the first use I had milk in the tube that connects to the handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many parts to clean & reassemble compared to some other popular manual pumps, also parts need to be replaced every 90 days so the whole thing is basically disposable. It has decent suction and the hand lever is nice but gets tiresome quickly if you don't already have really good hand strength. Unfortunately it wasn't as great as I was hoping and I won't be buying another.

Also, I LOVE using the wave cups with my spectra for pumping. GAME CHANGER. I wish Willow would sell the wave cups separately for this specific purpose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This manual pump is very easy to use and clean. I like that there arent too many pieces. I took away a star because the measurements are difficult to read once it starts to fill. I took away another star because the plug at the top isn't very secure and sometimes opens causing spills.

Pump broke only a few times into using it and sucked the milk into the tubing and I had to throw the whole thing away. I wouldn’t recommend.

If the Willow Wave has a million haters, I am one of them. If the Willow Wave has no haters, I’m probably dead. -Does not empty out. Does not feel comfortable. -Cheap materials and honestly speaking for most of their products. -Weird flange that honestly causes backflow tubing issues. -Trendy look meant to entice you but just get yourself the old school manual pump style.

Suction is too weak and does not empty breast.

Milk back flowed into the tube and then leaked all down my side. Going to return it.
