Q: Does the pump leaks ?
submitted by Luz solorzano - 9 months ago
A: Willow Go® offers great mobility while you pump, but it's not completely leak-proof in any position. The pump fits totally in your bra with no dangling cords, tubes, or bottles. You may notice some leaking if you move around while you pump - for example, if you bend far forward or lean far back. It all depends on how full your containers are, how much you're moving, and where the pump sits on your body. If you need true leak-proof mobility while you pump, we recommend you purchase Willow 360 and use our spill-proof milk bags.

Q: What is the difference between this Willow pump and the other Willow hands free pump?
submitted by LM - 1 year ago
A: Our site offers a comparison page to help you understand the differences between the pumps - we recommend you check this out to learn more! Both pumps fit entirely in your bra, with no dangling cords, tubes, or bottles. The most major differences are range of mobility & suction type - Willow 360™ uses a constant suction, (think about how baby latches) is totally leak-proof when you pump with our milk bags, and wide range of mobility with our milk containers. Willow Go® uses a tug and release type of suction, similar to a traditional wall pump, and lets you pump totally hands-free and untethered, but isn't totally leak-proof (especially if you're leaning far forward or back). Willow 360 lets you choose between spill-proof milk bags (no need to transfer - you can pump and store milk in the same bag) or reusable containers, while Willow Go offers reusable containers only. Both pumps are app connected, but Willow 360 has more smart features - for example, it tracks your volume in real time and automatically records your session history and connects to Apple Watch. Willow 360 holds up to 4 oz per pump, while Willow Go holds 5 or 7oz (7 oz containers sold separately).
Also included only with a Willow 360™ pump purchase, Moms have access to our 360 Care, where you can book a virtual session with a Mom Coach to get up to speed on assembly, sizing, positioning, and bra fit. The program also offers access to expert-backed articles and videos to help set you up for success!
The Willow Go breast pump has garnered mixed feedback from guests, with many praising its convenience, comfort, and discreet design, making it ideal for busy moms. Its strong suction and ease of cleaning are highlighted as significant advantages. However, some guests have reported issues with reliability, battery life, and suction consistency. Overall, it offers a modern solution for pumping while maintaining an active lifestyle, though guests should be aware of potential challenges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saves me so much time. I don’t have to sit and pump anymore, doing nothing. I can pump even outside or in the car, while going about my day.

Empties me
I have 4 different pumps and this is the only one (including my Spectra) that empties me completely. I would give it more stars if I could.

The WORST.
These pumps are the absolute WORST. I paid a lot of money for pumps that don’t work or malfunction half the time, and spill everywhere when they do actually pump! An absolute waste of money and I’m so mad I spent so much on these. I have tried to use them for 6 months and they mess up or are a pain every single time. Do not waste your money.

Make life easier
I was a little frustrated in the beginning because my milk would leak while trying to do things around the house, until I did some troubleshooting and figured out why. Since then they have been working like a charm and emptying me out every time. The app is super Easy to work and understand. Love it

Do not waste your money!
I am truly disappointed in these pumps - they are the absolute worst. One seems to work on one breast while the other doesn't. The suction is extremely poor and can never properly latch onto my nipple (and yes, my flange size is correct because I have a lactation consultant). I will NEVER recommend this product to an expecting or breastfeeding mom.

Willow go
The worst. Don’t buy. First they don’t even let you exchange for something else once you open it. So basically you can’t know if you like it without trying to but if you try it you can’t return it. Makes sense. Then when you go to pour it out it doesn’t fully get the milk out. And then it’s so hard to take apart. Worst pump ever. I have four different kinds. This is by far the worst brand

Absolutely love my willow go’s - best purchase. The pump suction is comparable to my spectra which makes it convenient to just pop it in and go about my day and I’m still getting the same output!

My most regretted baby purchase
The equivalent of flushing 200+ down the drain but more disappointing because I’ve spent so much time and energy also trying to get these to work. I use the spectra 2 and get super consistent output of 2-5 oz per side depending on time of day. I cannot for the life of me get more than . 5 oz from these. I’ve tried adjusting the suction and put it an insert to get me to 19mm, and nothing. It’s so frustrating.

Great wearable pump! Bought it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great wearable pump! Bought it to be able to pump at work. So far it works well and output is similar to what I get with primary pump. Want to give it 5 starts and would recommend to a friend, but wearable pumps are not one size fits all.

Unfortunately, not the greatest experience
I unfortunately did not have the greatest experience with pump as I keep getting sore nipples after every use even at the lowest suction setting. Wish the suction could go down more. The design etc is sleek though, hence the 3 stars.

The BEST pump I’ve tried
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BEST pump I’ve tried and the EASIEST to clean!! I have used 4 other pumps previously. Get the same output if not even better with the WillowGo. Have had ZERO issues with leaking, easy app control, very easy to assemble. The duckbill valve is large so very easy to wash. Minus the duckbill valve, you can actually assemble the whole pump without touching any areas that collect the milk so by far this is the easiest pump I’ve used in terms of keeping everything clean. Very very happy overall!

0 stars. Waste of money AND MILK!!!!! DO NOT BUY!
Willow Pumps claims to have a high quality, hospital grade, wearable pump that is guaranteed not to leak when used with their milk bags, and leak minimally when used with a reusable plastic milk receptacle. I paid over $60 dollars for milk storage bags, and another $80 dollars for the plastic reusable insert after paying $329.99 for the pump itself. Both leak an insane amount, not just little droplets of milk; I can pump 5 oz of breastmilk and am lucky to be able to retain 1.5 oz of it to feed my baby. The rest ends up leaking all over my clothing while I pump. I contacted willow and escalated my request for a refund, only to be told that it is a medical device and cannot be returned after the box has been opened. With so much false advertising about it's effectiveness, how could I have possibly known it was a piece of junk without using it first? I have followed all manufacturer instructions for care and maintenance of the product, and have only purchased Willow brand accessories. My baby has a medical condition and it's extremely important that I keep my milk supply flowing. I have been forced at times to feed my baby formula because of inadequate milk collection, and formula makes her feel terrible, and costs all of us valuable sleep, which affects everyone's health. This is unacceptable.

Super convenient!
This pump has been a game changer. I love not being stuck next to plug especially as someone who exclusively pumps. Only downside is sometimes the pumps leak if you don't have everything aligned just right but you get the hang of it after a few times.

Unreliable product
Would not recommend this pump at all. It feels like a prototype and not a ready-to-market product. 50% of the time I have to stop to troubleshoot the suction because I’m not getting any milk during the pumping session. This is usually caused by a slight misalignment of a seal or flange, and either hard to detect, or shifted as assembling. Other times I do not locate what caused the loss of suction, but by taking it apart and reassembling it does suddenly work. I bought these for ease-of-use at work and commuting, but the difficulties I’ve had with them not working are not living up to the “convenience” they market. Several times I’ve had to repeat my pumping session after discovering it did not extract any milk. I meet with clients throughout the day, so I have very little give in my scheduled pumping times. The battery life is ok, but the batteries do not hold charge long…meaning I have to ensure that I charge them close to the time I plan to use them. If they sit in my travel bag over the weekend, even without use, the battery drains. Not a fun surprise come Monday morning when you need to use them.

I wish that the large
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish that the large flange piece would not slip out of the machine when getting setup. Wish it was fewer parts I currently have to wash 12 parts after every pump which has cause my hand to start to crack due to the volume and frequency. Wish the case would also charge. Wish I could charge with the pump fully assembled. Overall small wishes over complaints with this product. This has changed everything for me and made it so I feel more myself in a time I seem to be giving so much up. Portable and hands free has made life postpartum manageable.

The willow has been exceedingly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The willow has been exceedingly frustrating to work. I infrequently fail to get the pump to actually suction my breasts despite ensuring I have correct flange size. The pump intermittently successfully yields milk. It’s not reliable for a working mom or mom in the go…

The Willow Go has been
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Willow Go has been a total game-changer for my daily routine because it finally gives me my hands back without compromising on output. I love that it fits entirely inside my bra with no external tubes or wires, so I can actually move around the house or take a meeting without feeling like I’m tethered to a wall. Even though it's a wearable, the suction feels just as powerful as my traditional plug-in pump, and having the option for the 7 oz containers is a massive relief for my higher-supply days. The best part, though, is how much stress it takes out of the process; I can control everything through the app on my phone, and when I’m finished, the parts are so simple to clean and toss in the dishwasher. It’s the first time pumping hasn't felt like a chore that stops my whole day in its tracks.
