Q: why are these only for babies up to 6 months? is it bad if my baby still uses at 9 months?
A: We would recommend checking with your pediatrician or pediatric dentist for continued use of the Happy Paci beyond the age of 6 months. The Dr. Brown's Happy Paci is designed for newborns. The Dr. Brown's Advantage pacifiers contain two stages (stage 1 – newborns 0-6 months) and (stage 2 – baby pacifier 6-18 months). The Dr. Brown's Stage 2 Advantage Baby Pacifier is designed for easy acceptance and contains a thin stem. This pacifier provides a minimal impact for emerging teeth, which can start anywhere after 6 months of age.
