After years of painstaking research, Rachel, Brazilian Bare's Founder & Chief Beauty Officer, has gathered a number of important "tips and tricks" that will help you achieve the closest, smoothest shave possible as well as care for your skin.
General Shaving Tips:
Always shave in the shower or bathtub. This allows the steam/warm water to soften your skin and hair, making it easier to shave.
There are two components of a close, smooth shave: The razor and the shave cream/gel (or syrup) that you choose to use. Don't skimp on either because, as Mom used to say, "You'll only be hurting yourself!". We recommend using a five-blade razor that vibrates and, yes, Brazilian Bare Shave Syrup. We've found that regular disposable blades, while cheap and easy to use, simply don't perform nearly as well and traditional shave creams and gels don't provide maximum protection from the rigors of shaving.
Replace the blade as soon as you feel it is starting to get dull. The number of shaves you can get from a single blade will vary on a number of things including how well you clean it and how big the areas are that you are shaving.
Shave downward first. This allows you to go "with the grain", minimizing "pulling" and razor irritation/ingrown hairs.
Shave using short strokes (your legs are an exception). This allows for better razor control and can minimize nicks and cuts.
Try to pull your skin taut/tight. As long as this doesn't result in discomfort, this will help the razor's blade glide smoothly over your skin and result in fewer nicks and cuts.
Never press too hard while shaving ... the razor should be allowed to do all of the work without much pressure from you.
Shave as often as you need it. Staying "on top" of hair removal helps ensure that shaving is as easy and painless as possible.

Love love love!
This is my favorite shave syrup from this line so far! First of all the smell is AMAZING. It smells sweet but not too artificial. I’ve also noticed how much it has helped with my razor bumps and ingrown hairs and a little goes quite a long way. I will never go back to regular shaving cream after trying Brazilian Bare!

So gentle and a great shave!
I just tried the watermelon shave syrup, and I LOVE the scent!! It smells so amazing, and I like the pink color. I have sensitive skin and this product is extra gentle. This shave syrup does not disappoint! It left my skin free from irritation or bumps, and silky smooth. I will definitely keep buying! Love it!!

I love the coconut scent product and a watermelon version definitely caught my eye. I love how this product lasts through multiple shaves and while it seems expensive at first, the cost is worth it due to how a small amount being more than enough per shave Enter my nightmare. Heavenly scent and so gentle
I am not a fan of shaving because I always get irritated, bumpy skin a day after shaving, especially on my bikini area. But because we had a family vacation at the beach (and I had no choice but to shave) I figured I would try this as it said it was good for sensitive skin. I have bought literally all shave items out there and this product is the bomb!! Love the scent but more importantly I had no irritation or bumps.
