Wanted Mt. Olive Bread & Butter but they didn’t have any so bought this. The taste is 100% there - very sweet and tart. However, the pickles are on the softer size, kind of mushy. Some have a slight crunch, but it’s not a perfect Mt. Olive substitute. Great price though !!

When I'm making supper, I tend to feel "snacky". I keep a jar of these in the fridge at all times. I snack on them while I cook supper. They don't fill you up, are technically a vegetable, and are so full of flavor that they are very satisfying. And biting the tiny mustard seeds is fun. :) BTW, I like Market Pantry brand better than the name brands!

Too Much Salt
The salt is overwhelming. I poured out the salt bath, replace with alkaline water, squirted lemon water in the jar, then sprinkled good gather's salt-free lemon seasoning, only to be able to tolerate and not have to throw the entire thing away. The good qualities are they are not too sweet (like other store brands) and the pickles are crunchy. Overall, store brands really shouldn't try to imitate every product.

I love how crunchy these are and have just the right balance of sweet and salty to it. Got these to try a Jack with adding a pack of hidden valley ranch powder seasoning in it and I have to stop myself from eating the whole jar. Will never buy another brand of b&b pickles again!
