Q: Can you switch the directions the doors open up?

A: The door hinges are predrilled but you may be able to drill the other side for the opposite direction opening.

My review is two stars and I have not even opened the box. I specifically purchased this because it said NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED which was a blatant lie. Expect to assemble yourself. This will also prevent me from anymore furniture orders online through Target, since it cannot be trusted to come as stated. Massive bummer. How exciting that I get to spend time putting something together that was supposed to arrive that way per the item's description.

Not recommended. We had to take it apart after realizing orientation mistakes for the snap lock doors. Not sure if poor instructions or poor understanding, but. As we were repairing our mistake, the long side broke off at a contact. One of the knobs was found to be stripped out so we went with 2 doors. Pretty enough, fair size but Very cheap.

My BIG problem is not with the cabinet function, but with the quality I received it in. It had damages to several shelves and corners. It looks as if the shelves were dropped and/or dragged on concrete, exposing the compressed wood under the white finish. I tried to hide them as best I could by assembling the pieces in a way that will have the damages face inside the closed cabinets but the unsightly damage could not be hidden everywhere. I'm giving 3 stars bc the cabinet does the job, but do not expect a high quality (or $60 value) item. Things don't really line up as neatly as expected... The magnetic strips on the door and shelf do not line up so one of my doors looks like its hanging off.. Most edges are not flush no matter how careful you are when assembling. I would have returned it but i desperately needed the cabinet and nobody has time to disassemble, ship, wait for a new one, and reassemble. Overal, its a pretty and sturdy cabinet, but buy at your own risk.
