Do not even attempt this peel and stick unless your walls are perfectly flat. I have mostly flat walls with the occasional skip trowel mark. My walls were previously painted, but because I had read the peel and stick can be finicky, I prepped them with Roman PRO-777 wallpaper primer. I used Roman E-Z Hang with my first sheet and it went on beautifully, but the top started to bubble up by the time I reached the bottom. I did everything I could think of to smooth it and new air pockets just kept popping up. I tried hanging the second sheet without using the E-Z hang and it was much worse. I ended up having to take my first 2 sheets down, which wasted a whole role of paper. I’m a fairly experienced wallpaper installer so I ended up applying the paper with wallpaper paste which was much more difficult than usual because of the peel and stick. The surface of this paper is also shiny like a sticker so, although the pattern is beautiful, it looks cheap and reflective like contact paper. I didn’t think to take a photo of the problem so I included a screenshot from a video call I had with a friend who was trying to help me troubleshoot the installation.
