A: Thank you for reaching out. The sugar we use in Breyers is unbleached liquid cane sugar. All sugar ingredients used across all Breyers products do not use bone char or any filter aids that contain bone char. We hope this helps.

What a disgrace. I have been a Breyers Ice Cream customers for decades. I was disappointed when they raised the price and reduced a half gallon to 1.5 quarts. However when they disguised their “ice cream” as a dairy delight, that did it for me. It’s a shame that their advertising dept. was tasked with making people think their ice cream was the “real thing”. They did their job, until I tasted the fake product. It’s is sad that another good company is driven by profits and not by quality. RIP Breyers.

I used it every time when cooking a brownie lavina cakes. My son likes only vanilla taste of ice cream, so this brand has best tasting! The price is also very good!

If I could give this negative stars I would. When did this company become so disgusting. All the ingredients are chemicals. The texture is super gummy and the product it truly gross. Tossed it right in the bin.

Wow…Disgusting….What happened to Bryers Ice Cream? Didn’t realize they made 3 different vanilla flavors. This Homemade flavor is filled with fillers and chemicals. It’s a beige color not white vanilla bean. Does t even contain real vanilla. It’s nothing but low quality generic. So disappointing.

Not real ice cream has more the 5 ingredients. Ice cream should have 5 ingredients MIlk, Skim milk, sugar, eggs, and Nat flavors.

Breyers was our chosen brand for decades before unilever destroyed it. I was horrified that its current advertising "leans in" to the very aspect that ruined it - its ingredient list. Of course "air" is not listed, even though it is the most abundant. "Gum", or any of its alternatives should NEVER appear on a list of ice cream ingredients. Unilever has ruined many brands - perhaps ALL of their brands. It is their business model, and they're good at it.

Ice Cream Should never contain WATER, nor should contain CORN SYRUP, and a bunch of gums to keep it full of whipped in air. I remember when it contained Cream, milk, cane sugar, and flavor like natural vanilla.. I threw it out after tasting one spoonful. This not REALice cream!

I love when briars uses all natural ingredients, but this one has corn syrup as an ingredient and that is not cool. I don’t remember pouring corn syrup as ingredient for the ice cream machine when my family and I made homemade ice cream.
