A: Thank you for your question! The light cannot be turned off independently from the music. The Press & Glow Spinner requires 3 AA batteries.

At least the lights work
I ordered this as a gift for my nephew for this coming weekend. Just got it today and found out the music didn’t work. There aren’t any more in the stores near me and I don’t have enough time for another to get shipped. There wasn’t any bubble wrap or anything in the box either, hopefully it didn’t break while being shipped.

Great Toy Until it Wasn't
We LOVED this toy… while it lasted. Unfortunately, the spinner top won’t push down anymore. It had been well taken care of, but apparently was just loved a bit too much. We’ve had it about 10 months so three stars for entertainment and fun, but aside from that, durability was NOT great.

The old pop-ball version of these are better. This one is bright and flashy and the music isn’t annoying (a plus!) but it stops spinning so quickly that you have to sit and continuously push it to keep it going. My baby loves the lights but overall I wouldn’t buy this again.
