  • A: This toy broke after the first week for me. I took the battery cover off it was full of liquid from leaky batteries! Cleaned it up and put in some eneloops and the monkey worked.

  • A: I would have LOVED to have purchased this item for a 12 and a 14 month old, BUT so, so many customers have complained about its rolling/moving function stopped working literally within a handful or less days. I see the responses to questions asked by actual purchasers have been largely ignored OR either Target or the manufacturer has answered those customers with a "Call Me" response. WELL, when you do call to ask for assistance, it better not be the day after your sanitation/trash services have been because they WON'T (not can't) be able to provide any assistance unless you still have the original cardboard container in which it's sold. With the sheer number of identical complaints, the manufacturer HAS TO BE AWARE of the defect that causes it to literally stop working. Instead, of doing a recall & issuing refunds, they prefer to sell out of their current inventory to unsuspecting customers -- and then, POSSIBLY fix the defect in future manufacturing runs. This is corporate greed at its very finest. Shame. What a shame. I CANNOT STRMRESS TGUS ENOUGH --- ABSOLUTELY, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS.

    Out of the box, didn't work

    Bought because I thought it would be great for encouraging him to reach, belly scoot, and crawl. Never worked right. Didn't roll on its own. As a first time and working mom, I never found the time to return it. Threw it away after a couple months.

    Do NOT buy. Toy stopped lighting up after one day from one side only. You have to press it every few seconds, also it looked on the packaging as if it rolled on its own which it does not. It barely rolls. I was excited it looked like a really fun interactive toy. Soo disappointed!

    Do not wast your money

    Comes broke and dosent roll. I'm So dad and mad we pais $20 for something that fosent work, and how we need to open the box to get it, we can't change.

    Only goes one way

    This thing lacks potential. It rolls well one way but doesn’t come back the other way. So now when my kid plays with it, he throws it back at me to keep it rolling.

    Its supposed to roll??

    My mother in law got this for my son. We opened it, pressed the button, and all it did was make noise. I didn’t buy it, so I assumed that was all it did. Just read the rest of the reviews and saw that it IS supposed to roll on its own. So ours just came broken :(

    Great but it breaks easily

    My son LOVED this toy but it broke after a week of use. I bought a new one to replace it and it immediately broke as well. This toy would be great if it didn't keep shutting off. Waste of money for a faulty build.

    Does not hold babies attention at all

    I’m Not sure if it’s supposed to work the way it does, but it has an extremely short run time and not hold babies attention for more than 10-15 seconds. It does maybe one roll and makes noise for a very short time and stops. You have to keep pressing the button to keep it running. Would not buy again or recommend this toy. There’s better ones out there. I was hoping it was similar to that moving crab toy but far from it! Don’t waste your money on this monkey.

    Stopped rolling after some time
