The wooden pieces and poll are really well made and of good quality, although it is a little bit tricky to put together at first and feels like each petal piece will snap until you get the hang of it. The base is heavy and really sturdy.

When I saw this Unusual floor lamp on your website I knew I wanted to buy it but I first had to figure out where to put it... I did what I call a walk-through, looking for the perfect place(s) & found only 1, right between 2 very low carved wooden chairs where it adds Exotic light, including on the ceiling, & an artistic accent showcasing the area between the entry & the livingroom. It is Awesome!

The Artichoke lamp is easy to put together. Easy to follow instructions. The "leaves" snap in place. Took about 15-20 minutes to put the lamp and the shade together. Looks great, just like the picture. We have ours next to a wall. The light from the "leaves" bounces off the wall and looks wonderful in a softly lit room and provides a cozy atmosphere. Recommended.
