A: Thanks for asking, Tatiana! We're happy to help you set up our Chrome Faucet Mount System. First, unscrew the aerator from your faucet. If your faucet has threads on the outside, you likely don't need an adapter, and you can attach the system directly to your faucet. If your faucet has threads on the inside, try the included adapters. Position the base system so the filter cup is on the left side of your faucet, and twist the mounting collar onto the faucet. Support the bottom of the filter system with one hand while you align the insert groove of the filter with the indicator and push it down. Flush the system with cold water for five minutes before using. If you have additional questions, please call us at 800-242-7482 and mention reference number 240415-000448. Started out great, in a few months started leaking
The filtering seems to work, which is great. It's very obvious chlorine is filtered, as well as more, based on chlorine smell and color. However, after just a couple months, the filter started leaking through the non-filtered side after the water was turned off. I thought it was our faucet until it started getting worse. After trialing the original faucet components vs the filter, it's a filter issue. Maybe because there isn't a ring to stop it??? It also started dripping from the non-filtered side when using the filtered side. It progressed to a steadier leak, and now leaking from the non-filtered side AND the switch. Quite disappointed as I'm now looking for a new and better quality filter less than a year from purchase. Absolutely do not buy this.

Malfuntioning Water Filter System
I have a standard faucet and the filter system attached easily. I turned the water on low and the filter flew off so I attached and was able to filter water with the faucet turned at a trickle rate. Any more pressure and the unit leaked and sprayed water. The filter on/off switch was very difficult to turn after a week of use and if I didn’t switch it back to the filter off position, the next time I turned it on water sprayed out the sides and all over me and anything I was preparing on the counter. Returned obviously.

Good Product BUT..
The product in itself is good . It comes with multiple adapters to fit to different types of faucets- i did not have to use any of those adapters. It works great . BUT surprisingly the box nor any of the parts except the adapters aren’t sealed - that’s weird. I wanted to return it but after checking the components i was convinced that it was not used earlier. It’s still kind of weird- why wouldn’t they seal the box. Also , the turn knob is easy to use but is counterintuitive.

I've had this Brita water filter before so I had no problems ordering this and I know that I installed it correctly because it's easy to install, however, it has changed in the filtering thing because my glass tea kettle still getting a lot of water stains which I was trying to get rid of.. We love it
Been using this system for over 3 years now and in multiple homes. This is the second one I've bought after the first one started leaking from both sides when either side was turned on. It didn't start happening until our maintenance man removed it from our sink and installed a whole new faucet so not sure if it was broken somehow in that process or if a piece was lost. Overall, it's been really great over these years and the water tastes clean! I hate all the waste build up from plastic bottles so this is a great alternative. Make sure you have a solid install and you'll be good. Definitely recommend!
