Q: I bought this item and it came with its own filter. When the filter was replaced, the unit continued to to show the red light (not green, as it should have with a new filter)

A: Warranty of PUR filters is of no use. They ask you to pay for the return shipping when there is any issue. This is same as the device cost.

Also and perhaps more importantly, I've had this less than a year and it already broke. The piece of plastic on the front of the filter with the company name on it came off and several small holes formed so anytime I use the filter water shoots out directly. This product is poor quality.

Installation was easy and done within 5 minutes of reading the instructions. You have three different nozzle fits for your faucet. So be sure to try the one that fits OR you can request free ones if the included ones don't fit. Once installed, filtering water was as easy as the switch of a lever! It has a light that turns on once the filter is installed that indicates the life of the filter. Green is brand new and working yellow is soon to need a replacement and red is filter needs to be replaced immediately. It produced great drinking water with ease and uses a mineral filter which makes the water taste really great! I really enjoyed how easy it is to set up and use once set up properly. Filters are also easily accessible which is important. All in all I would give this experience of five out of five. *Disclaimer - This product was received complimentary in exchange for our honest review and opinion.

You will always find me drinking wattled water and tap I only used to wash dishes. The PUR Plus Faucet Filtration System is really easy to install and use. This does a good job of taking the chlorine smell and taste out of my water. I trust this filter process better than the purified water I by in a plastic bottle. This way I can put it in a glass bottle. It was so easy to install. I didn’t need any tools. The water flow does slow down when the filter needs changed but my water filter in my refuses the same thing. So that doesn’t bother me. That way I don’t forget to change the filter. I would definitely recommend this.
