Q: I bought this item and it came with its own filter. When the filter was replaced, the unit continued to to show the red light (not green, as it should have with a new filter)

A: Warranty of PUR filters is of no use. They ask you to pay for the return shipping when there is any issue. This is same as the device cost.

Also and perhaps more importantly, I've had this less than a year and it already broke. The piece of plastic on the front of the filter with the company name on it came off and several small holes formed so anytime I use the filter water shoots out directly. This product is poor quality.

I taste tested the sink water and the water from the pur plus water filtration and there is a difference in the taste and it is better that’s for sure. The only thing that gets to me is how bulky it is on my sink but i’m sure it can’t be helped.

Having the opportunity to try the PUR PLUS with chrome finish has been awesome. This filtration system is certified to filter lead. It does not filter microbes. Since using I can tell a difference in the taste of the water. The filter lasts up to 3 months or in the alternative can last up to 100 gallons filtered. In terms of set up we thought it would be a quick pop on and go but it takes a bit of time so have some patience when installing. We added it to our kitchen sink since that will allow us to filter the water that we use to cook and wash dishes with. I love that we get to save money and fill Up our own jugs or bottles with water oppose to buying plastic bottles of water. The chrome finish looks great on chrome sinks. If you’re considering a filtration system give this a go first.

We tried the new PUR Plus Water Filtration system that attaches to tye faucet. We are really impressed with the quality of the water. We noticed immediately the difference. The water tastes smooth and very delicious thanks to added minerals to the filter. Installation was super easy and even looks great on the sink. It has a green light indication for the filter usage and you can have the option for filtered or unfiltered water. It's great to know that will filtered any lead and chemicals. Definitely will buy replacement filters and continue to use it.

I didn’t even have to use the adapter piece just screwed it right onto the faucet! I like that it has a green light when the filter is good and turns red when it needs to be replaced! Easy to replace the filter because all PUR faucet filters fit in ALL PUR faucet filtration systems, so that’s nice! Says that it filters up to 100 gallons or lasts up to 3 months! Better tasting water! I am going to wash my face with the filtered water too! Yay!

The water from my faucet tends to taste a bit “heavy”, especially at room temperature. I don’t like the waste nor the expense of buying bottled water all the time so I had just been dealing with the taste of my water. If you enjoy having a filtered and more crisp water with less of a chlorinated type odor, I’d suggest you try this filter! Just pop it onto your tap and don’t worry about it for 3 months!! I haven’t had to change the filter yet so I can’t speak to that aspect of the product. *I received this PUR Filter in exchange for my honest review. My opinion is my own.*

This design is bulkier than expected, and doesn’t work well with my current kitchen faucet design, but the idea is that it has an extension for filtered water while the faucet still works as usual for dishes, etc. It’s hard to picture this working on too many faucets since most kitchen faucets have a design for a shower mode vs stream mode, and I don’t think this is compatible with that. I like the idea and the somewhat low profile design (don’t need a separate filter container), but I think this is quite limited in utility.

I have been loving the taste, and knowing it is filtered is so nice! Exactly what I was looking for. The speed of the filtered water is not really fast but still good.The kit comes with many adapters for most faucets. The directions and drawings are pretty well-written.This was easy to install and I like the flashing light indicator that advises when to change the filter.the look of the filter is sleek, I love the chrome details.

Installation was easy and done within 5 minutes of reading the instructions. You have three different nozzle fits for your faucet. So be sure to try the one that fits OR you can request free ones if the included ones don't fit. Once installed, filtering water was as easy as the switch of a lever! It has a light that turns on once the filter is installed that indicates the life of the filter. Green is brand new and working yellow is soon to need a replacement and red is filter needs to be replaced immediately. It produced great drinking water with ease and uses a mineral filter which makes the water taste really great! I really enjoyed how easy it is to set up and use once set up properly. Filters are also easily accessible which is important.
