Q: Why does the description by Target say the filter lasts 6 months when the package says 3 months?
A: Thank you for your inquiry. The reason it says 6 months, is because the box will last you 6 months. Each filter lasts for 3 months, and this package comes with 2 filters. A: A filter 3-pack says they last three months, a 4-pack says three months, a 6-pack says three months, but the 2-pack says six months, giving the impression the 2-pack is a different, longer-lasting filter. This needs to be corrected.submitted byCB - 4 years ago
Q: Is this filter the same as RF 9999?

Q: When I opened my replacement filter, there was a substance on it I've seen before that looked like fine salt. Should I use it?
A: A.) Thank you for taking time to view this product. The "salt" like substance on this filter is caused by the natural minerals and particles that are found in the filters core. These particles are not harmful in anyway if consumed and can be wiped or washed off the filter. We hope this information is helpful.
