The latch system is smooth and intuitive. My kids like moving their car seats to different spots in the car — before and after trips :) — and this seat is easy for them to uninstall and reinstall safely. The carrying handle makes it simple to move from car to car as well. It looks great in my van (bonus). The one negative (not enough for me to dock a star, but worth noting) is that the seat cover can shift while my son sits on it. We have 4 busy kids, 2 full time working parents and amazing grandparents who often help with school and activity pick up and drop offs. The carry handle is such a nice touch I didn’t know I needed in a car seat! That in combination with how light the seat is, makes it easy for my son to take his seat on his own into whatever car he is going into. He says the seat is very comfortable and he likes it better than other seats we’ve owned. The installation is probably my favorite part. Tucking the rigid LATCH to the sides so they’re not hanging all over the place and the ease in which they pop securely into the car is so helpful. The battle I often have is moving car seats from one car to another with the time and effort it usually takes. This is so easy to install and reinstall it took that stress away! The color is an added bonus as it matches my car interior. Time will tell how long it says looking nice (messy kids!) but the cover seems easy to pop off and wash. If you’re looking for a car seat that’s easy to install / reinstall, is comfortable for your kiddo in a backless booster and looks great, the Britax UpNGo Click is an excellent option. Immediately upon opening, I was very impressed with the Britax UpNGo Click Backless Booster. Over time, I have purchased a very high end convertible booster and inexpensive backless booster to use as a spare. This booster seat is definitely my favorite due to the high quality cushioned fabric, ease of use and overall look and feel. The seat cover is easy to take on and off making it easy to through in the washer as needed. It also looks great in my car! Installation was almost too easy - I was wondering if I installed it incorrectly. My partner agreed. The booster locks into the seat’s anchors with a click and indicates with green if the booster is secure. That seat does not move! It feels very secure. It is also easy to uninstall the booster for a quick car change, too. The handle and weight of the booster makes it so easy that even the most car seat challenged adults can learn. It’s so portable - my kids have no issues carrying it from car to car or strapping themselves in. If your child is used to sitting on a flat booster seat, it may take some time to get used to the contoured seat. My child found it comfortable as it helped her sit higher. My kid was particularly fascinated by the cup holders (which are dishwasher safe!) that can be removed and placed on either side. They are removable which makes them easy to clean. I would highly recommend the Britax UpNGo Click Backless Booster. I’m picky when it comes to car safety for my kids. Aesthetics are almost as important as safety features. This booster exceeds my expectations for both requirements.

I received this booster to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it came at the perfect time as my six year old had just started growing out of his carseat. To be honest, I was dreading putting this in because I always struggle at getting seats out/putting new ones in. So I was pleasantly surprised to discover that installing the seat wasn't a struggle at all. I love the rigid LATCH installation! With the way they retract it makes it super easy to click in and out without me blindly trying to figure out how to click the seat in. Between the easy click system and how lightweight the booster is, I'm no longer apprehensive to move this seat from one car to the next. I really like the contoured seat and my son found it very comfortable. He also really liked the armrests and loved having the cupholders. I appreciate that they are removable (and dishwasher safe!) because any mom knows that a cupholder gets sticky just by a kid looking at it. Thanks to the slim design we were able to fit this next to two additional carseats into the middle row of our Honda Odyssey. I did remove one of the cupholders (as you'll see in the pic) because my son's water bottle kept bumping my other son's carseat which was causing drama - another pro for removable cup holders. This carseat looks great in person. We have another booster seat that's black and it looks fine, but when I put this one in I actually admired how nice it looked. The fact that the material is removable so I can easily wash it is another nice bonus. I really love this seat - it's obvious Britax put a lot of thought into the design - it checks all the boxes that I look for in a seat and then some!

The lightweight seat with easy to carry handle made it easy to move between cars for grandparent pick-ups, play dates, and carpooling to school. Our prior booster seat had a tight spot between the seatbelt buckle and the arm rest of the seat, and our kid struggled to buckle and unbuckle himself quickly at school drop-off and pickup. This seat's slim design means he can easily slip his hand in the space and no longer worries about being pinched. The seat is an absolute breeze to install and even the grandparents can properly affix it to their car's LATCH system with no problems at all. It looks great in the car, is easy to clean, and my favorite feature is that the cup holders detatch and are dishwasher-safe. The attached cupholders in our previous seats were an absolutely disgusting petri dish of melted ice cream and sticky juice residue, so being able to remove the cupholder and clean it regularly will make the backseat of our cars much less horrifying. He was excited and loved the color scheme. He got the Grey/green trim. He told me it was an upgrade from his other one because the UpNGo was so comfy. He appreciated the cushion and the clip that helped him position his seat belt properly. The most important feature for him was the cup holders! He was so happy he didn't have to share a cup holder with his siblings and he was so proud that he was able to carry it on his own. I like the portability it has. Can't say much for the click in feature as it won't fit in the middle seat of my Honda Odyssey but I would recommend this seat for it's comfort!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This booster has such an ingenious mechanism for attaching to the latch system in a car, which is amazing to keep it in exactly the right position despite wiggly kids. The pop out anchor attachments are so clever and very intuitive. I also very much appreciate that they retract right into the seat if you have to use it in a spot that doesn't have the latch clips. It's super lightweight and easy to grab and place in a different vehicle when necessary. As with all Britax products, it's clear that this is made from the highest quality materials. The colors and fabrics are excellent choices and my children had no complaints. The only issue my seven year old had with the seat, is that she prefers boosters with arm rests that flip up and down, where as these are stationary. They're also covered with the same fabric as the base, which I do have some slight concerns about how dirty they will get quickly. But brand new, it looks great in my van and is definitely a high quality booster compared to most on the market. An enormous thank you to Stellar Panel for this major upgrade to backless boosters, I know we'll be using it for a very long time to come.

I was happy with how the old boosters worked, but we recently got a larger vehicle and I wanted to see if we could find a booster that fit the space a little better. Pros: We had our six year old try out the booster first, as she’s our kid who is prone to being more “sensory” with textures, positions, and so forth. When I asked her what she thought of it, she said “I like this booster better than my old one because it’s so comfortable and I like the cup holders!” That alone is a win for me. The seat looks very comfortable, it’s sturdy and will withstand multiple kids’ use, and it is a very install. We move our kids between vehicles frequently, and having a booster that is simple is necessary. Cons: While my daughter liked the cup holders, I thought they stick out a little. It wasn’t quite as sleek as I was hoping it would be, but the comfort makes up for that. All in all, not a knock against it because it’s still a very nice booster, but I wish it were just a little bit narrower. The other small negative is one part of the fabric on the arm ripped a little, and for the price if would be nice if that were sturdier. In conclusion, I recommend this booster and will look at getting another as my next kiddo sizes up to a booster. The comfort and ease of install can’t be beat! I need their seats to be comfortable, safe, and easy to clean. I have a 7.5 year old who is in a booster seat in the back of my minivan, and our previous one was gifted from a neighbor who had used it with her grandson. I was really excited when the chance came through Stellar to test this seat because my daughter has seen her younger sisters get brand new car seats, and I wanted something nice and new for her. She was overjoyed when the box arrived and she got to help unpack it! She tested the cushions and was anxious to get it in the car and use it. I think the arms that can slide out to attach to the lower seat anchors are so clever! The built-in carrying handle is also nifty and makes transporting this much less awkward. It was very easy to install and my daughter is still saying how comfortable riding in the seat is. As a parent who has a previous seat to compare against, there are a couple things that I wish were different. The fabric color is a light gray which is pretty, but I can already see how quickly and easily stains are going to show. Our other seat also had cup holders that could retract into the seat, whereas the cup holders on this Britax are separate and have to be put on individually. All told, even with a couple small features that are not my favorite, I think this is a great booster seat. My kid is comfortable riding in it and I can tell it will hold up well over the next few years until she can ride without a booster.

This booster has been such a hit with the entire family. Due to a shipping error and as a result of the generosity of Britax, we actually received two boosters to test drive! Bonus that we received one in each color and both match the light and dark interior of mine and my husband’s vehicles. The Britax UpNGo Backless Booster instantly won me over due the latch locking features. This is not something that I have encountered on any of my prior boosters and instantly put my mind and heart at ease. Knowing my child has added safety measures while being in the vehicle is priceless and such an incredible design feature. Even with the lock feature, the booster is seamless to transition in and out of the vehicle. Unlock the latch, grab the convenient carry handle and store for later use. The perfect combination of convenience with absolutely no decrease in function or safety features! Our kiddo was also very excited for her new booster. She was very pleased to have not only the arm rests but dual cup holders for a beverage and all her treasures. She even mentioned how comfortable the seat was over the weekend during a long road trip. Overall, this booster is a lovely product that I would highly recommend and will enjoy for years to come. This booster seat came in SO handy when I needed to switch it from car to car. It’s very lightweight, easy to carry, and quick to install. I particularly like how it latches into the seat, as this makes it much safer than other booster seats I’ve seen. My son loves the detachable cup holders and the shape and feel of the seat. He says it’s very comfortable to sit on! The black fabric blends in with my seat color, which is a really nice feature. The only complaint that I have might not be applicable to everyone but I’ll explain anyway. I drive a medium sized SUV but I still find that my back seat is pretty narrow. With our previous high back booster seat, my son was unable to buckle himself in as he couldn’t reach the latch on the seat below him. I was really hoping that switching to a backless booster seat would help with this problem but it started out being more difficult than before. This booster seat seems to be a little wider and nearly covers the seat latch, making it difficult for even me to get the seat belt to latch. I’ve been working on having my son practice buckling the seat belt and I’m seeing it get a little easier for him as time goes on, so ultimately I feel like this won’t be a problem for long. All of that being said, I am really happy with this booster seat and would definitely recommend it!

The rails extend out and onced latched it's a secure connection. The seat is lightweight and my child had no trouble carrying it themselves to the car using the built-in handle. My child reported the seat was comfortable to sit in. I appreciated the option to attach a cup holder on either side or keep them off completely to accomodate the configuration best for the day (more space or convenient access to a drink). The two-toned fabric design is simplistic and looked good in our car. The seatbelt shoulder clip was easy to install and adjust. The installation was extremely straightforward and fast, and once installed the seat is completely secure and doesn’t flop around on the seat like other boosters we’ve tried in the past from different brands. My son says he likes it because it’s comfortable and he likes the colors! As someone who has always struggled with installing car seats and booster seats- so much so that I’ve always left the job for my husband to do. This is Britax UpNGo Click Backless Booster is the first booster seat I’ve been able to install and uninstall by myself without any help. I love how it easily installs to the lower anchors of my vehicle (I have a GMC Acadia for reference) securely for a snug, tight fit that I can rest assured it’s installed correctly. It is also easy to transfer between vehicles if needed as it has a built in handle for carrying. I also love the slim design of the booster, anyone sitting in the front seat can have plenty of leg room and not have to worry about the booster taking up too much room. The booster itself is very comfortable with a sleek design that is stylish and comfortable. The only thing I didn’t care for was the fabric color of the booster seat- it’s a light tan which I could see it getting stained easily as kids are messy and my kid is no exception. Additionally my seats are dark and it would match better if the booster was darker. However my child seemed very comfortable riding in the Britax UpNGo Click Backless Booster and has been able to buckle herself up following the color coded seatbelt guides. Overall I am very pleased with this booster seat as it allows my child to be a big kid (sit in a backless booster) safely for her and easily for me.

I love how easy installation is with the latch system. With the rigid sliding bar to buckle, this is the easiest car safety seat I have ever installed or uninstalled. The booster is lightweight and my almost 8yo says it’s really comfortable. The width is perfect in my sedan; with the latch system, the buckle has plenty of room, doesn’t slide under the booster, and my daughter hasn’t needed help buckling a single time. The cup holders are really easy to slide in and out; my single critique is that there’s a little tab on each cup holder for removal that I worry will jab a thigh at some point, but in a week of using the booster, that hasn’t happened so may be a nonissue. Overall I absolutely recommend.

It fits perfectly in a smaller car and the rigid lower anchor attachments are a dream—they snap in with no fuss and pop out just as easily when I need to move it. One of my favorite features is how lightweight it is, which makes switching it between vehicles so simple. My son is a big fan of the dual cup holders, and I love that both the holders and the cover come right off for quick cleaning. The fabric has a nice color and texture to it—it feels durable yet comfortable, and it looks good in the car too. Comfort-wise, the seat isn’t super cushy, and the seating angle has my son leaning back more than he likes. There’s also a handle gap in the back of the seat that he sometimes ends up sitting on, which can be a little uncomfortable for him. I think the design is intentional, but it’s worth keeping in mind depending on your child’s comfort needs. I also appreciate the optional shoulder belt guide—it’s not something my son needs anymore, but it’s great to have for younger passengers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 9-year-old is still riding in a booster due to the poor sealtbelt fit in my vehicle and prefers her booster seat to look like a modern and slim design - the UpNGo Click Backless Booster delivered on that and provided a proper belt fit for her. The UpNGo was a breeze to install, and I am the biggest fan of the new latch system being integrated into the seat on a sliding mechanism instead of having to deal with the latch buckles dangling around while transporting between vehicles. Our rider often carpools with family and takes a booster to/from school and this was such an easy, lightweight booster for her to carry and store due to the size and design. The carry handle was the perfect size for little hands to manage. The design of the latch slider is truly a game changer, it was so much easier for grandparents to use who have in the past struggled to connect and disconnect the latch buckles with other designs. It was also not complicated to figure out. My child liked the seat design, thought it was comfortable and felt that the armrests added the additional comfort she needed. She found the fabic to be soft and the padding and contour to fit well for longer car rides. The plastic cupholders are easy to remove for quick cleaning but are on the smaller size so they didn’t fit some of her larger water bottle designs but it wasn’t enough of an issue to change her 5-star rating. I’d recommend this Britax UpNGo Click Backless Booster to those searching for this style of carseat. It was the perfect fit for my older car rider, worked perfectly with our captain seats and was slim enough that it didn’t interfere with the armrests, the materials were high quality and soft, and of course the latch system - which was a total game changer for families who move carseats around more often.
