Brother SE630 Sewing and Embroidery Machine 4x4

Great little entry level machine. User friendly. Self explanatory layout. Onboard editing, text and graphics. I have used it since 2022 and though I am ready to graduate to a larger hooped machine, I will continue to use this for smaller projects.

Enjoy my machine. Only thing you can't do heavier material

This machine has everything I ever needed on a sewing machine for a good price. The instructions are easy to follow, needle threader is great, I’m still gettin use to the embroidery, but so far so good. I love that it has an automatic threat cutter.

The machine continuously breaks my thread and the repair center is too far away i’ve tried to troubleshoot the machine several times, but it still does not work. I’ve adjusted detention. I’ve even replaced the thread with a different brand and it still breaks.

very nice feeling machine. embroidery functions are clumsy—i used a ult2002 love that i can set my 1/4 inch unlike many other machines.

Se630 4x4 nice machine strong and quiet. Bought at a pawn shop in ft Worth tx, everything was there all accessories and feet.tried to register in my name but got nowhere. Does not matter tho because I like the machine and it does exactly what I wanted in a machine. Would have liked to have it registered to me, but guess a pawnshop buy doesn't count as a purchase. I've completed many projects with it and have many more I still want to do. There was a bit of a learning curve I had to undertake, but all in all everything was straightforward and clear. I'm totally happy with the machine.

I absolutely love my machine! The small problems I’ve had have been covered in the manual!

Purchased because price was way lower than other brands and models. Easy to operate for sewing but directions for using embroidery features were harder to understand. I would suggest watching online videos, also. Biggest problem I have discovered is that hoop will not work with thicker materials.

My first time ever experiencing embroidery sewing. This machine has been a great starting experience for me. Great machine and price was great too!

Wish it used bigger hoops. Also wish it worked wirelessly. Should have purchased a different model. It is good at what it was designed to do.

Although I haven’t used my machine very much, I do enjoy using it. I like the amount of built in stitching, and I did embroider a couple of initials on a doggy sweater, and that came out great. However, when I somehow broke a needle and changed it, the automatic threader does not work anymore. I have another brother sewing machine and the same thing happened with it also. I really needed that threader, since my eyesight is not very good.

If all you want to do is small 4x4 projects it's an awesome machine.

Perfect little at home embroidery and sewing machine. For my home business use this has everything I need without so many extras that never get used. Very user friendly. I love it!!

I am still learning it but so far it's been easy to use. It's not heavy, has a lot of accessories and stitches. The price was good as well.

This machine is a nice little machine.i am very happy with it. I am making a family tree quilt and I am using this machine to put the names on it. I have very expensive machines and I have found this to be a much easier machine to work with. The 4 x 4 frame is to small. I don't know if I can get a bigger one for it. Being able to use a thumb drive with it is a plus for me. Everything was in the box.

It's easy to use, straight forward, and does a great job! This is my first embroidery machine and I was scared the learning curve would be to steep for me, but after one day I had the hang of it!

I love this machine. Very quiet. The embroidery feature works very well, the embroidery is very professional looking. Would highly recommend this sewing machine to all levels of machine sewing

I’m so enjoying using machine for quilting and am in aw of the embroidery machine, as I’m new at embroidery- it is so interesting to watch it in action! I’m pleased with overall performance! The 4”x4” hoop is limiting for designs, but there is a plethora of 4x4 hoop designs!
