This bread is a beloved staple for many guests, praised for its fresh taste, soft texture, and versatility in meals. Guests appreciate its slightly sweet flavor, making it ideal for sandwiches, toast, or simply enjoyed with butter. However, recent packaging changes have raised concerns about freshness and ease of use. Despite this, the overall quality and taste remain strong, making it a popular choice for families.

Best Everyday Bread
My family has been getting this bread for years and it’s a staple in our pantry. It’s always incredibly fresh and soft. It’s very slightly sweet but goes with any type of meal.

Love the Bread... and the Old Packaging
Brownberry bread is my go-to, especially oat nut. It's soft with a great texture. I don't understand the new sticker seal packaging. The first few slices of bread are hard to remove without tearing. I don't like the possibility of the outside of the bag touching the bread when you roll it up to reseal. Also, I noticed a giant hole in the bag of this last loaf my husband brought home from the store, so the first few slices were stale and tasted terrible.

new packaging is trash. the resealable bag sucks. my bread was already stale when I opened it a few days ago and it doesn't say it goes bad until the 27th.

New Packaging SUCKS
I really like this bread but they've changed packaging to a "resealable" bag which is very difficult to work with. I won't buy until they change back to twistie tie closures.

Ms
I ordered this bread Monday 7/21. When I tried the bread on Tuesday it was stale. Decided to look at the date it said 7/19/25. Ended up feeding it to the critters in back yard.

Meh
This bread is fine. Definitely not the best thing since sliced bread although that is exactly what this product is. The oats are enticing when you see this loaf on the shelf. When you eat the bread the oats are hardly noticeable, a bit underwhelming. The slices are large which I appreciate, makes for a hardy pb&j. Toasted, subpar. The bread is a bit sweet and it somewhat clashes with the taste of melted butter. Eating this bread plane is honestly better. I occasionally will eat the bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, ground black pepper, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan. I would highly recommend doing this. All in all the bread isn't bad it's just not exactly what I'm looking for in a bread. I will probably buy it again because of its price tag and macros but I know there are breads out there that taste better and are healthier.

Changed! Stop it!
Brownberry / Bimbo Bakery is changing the bread! Are you nuts? Long, long time Oat Nut lover. They have removed the inner sealed bag and the recipe has obviously changed. The taste is ok now (not delicious) and the consistency is different (more dense and wet). I already had a loaf mold that was two days past the ‘Best By’ date which I had purchase two days prior!

Package change?
This product is usually double-wrapped. However, the one I bought this week did not include the inner wrapping. I am concerned about the safety of the product. Does anyone know if the product packaging has been changed?
