It's not exactly proportionate for size. My dog's legs pop out of it from each hole at random. But it's cute!

it's super cute but very tight. my dog is 15 pounds under the weight I got and it is tight. size up.

Had to size up due to our pup having long legs! He loves his pj’s so much. Comfy and as described :)

I have been buying these matching holiday pajamas for myself, husband, and our dog for years - but I have to say the quality has just tanked. The sizing is all over the place and the pajamas, both humans and pet quality are just not what they used to be. I get my 5 lb Chihuahua a size XS every year [and the size chart says XS should even fit up to a 10 lb dog] but the legs only came to about his ribcage [see photos]! I exchanged for size S and they are massive. Not to mention in the product photos for the red/green set they have the onesie on those poor animals upside down? Have them looking like Sumo Wrestler Leotards or something. And why are they tank-tops now? Even the doggy ones used to have cuffs and collared lapelsand buttons and piping detail like the human ones [See photos of my dogs like 3 & 4 years ago]

The small size is suitable for a 10 pound dog. If you go a size up, it is definitely sized for a much larger dog.

So cute for holiday matching! But it does seem to run smaller than other pet outfits.

These are a joke. I got the xs for my cat based on the size chart and it barely went past his neck. It was the size for a hamster.

Material is great, and color matches our pajamas. Unfortunately sizing is wrong. These run small. I have a mini golden doodle who is 27lbs. Got him a M size since it says on the tag it’s for 40lbs and it fits him small, and he’s not even fluffy right now. Returning and gonna try a Large..

Got size XS as it was advertised to fit cats. Turns out they are incredibly small and do not fit either of my nearly 8 month old kitties. If you have a newborn puppy or kitten this is for you lol. If not, size up

Runs really small! When I purchased these originally 2 days ago, the original price was 7.00/per piece. I needed to exchange the item for larger sizes (I bought 6 of them). When I went to go repurchase the PJ's, they raised their prices to 10.00/per piece... I was only offered a 20% discount, so I ended up paying another 25 dollars for them. I am very bummed by this. Target should not flucuate the prices like this and should offer exchanges in lieu of discounts. I probably will end up returning the 2nd order because IMO, these are not worth the price.

More importantly… the product shots for the “red” color are all backwards! 🤣🤣 The tank portion is the front and the long sleeves go on the legs like the other color product shots show. If you put the pajamas on as shown in the “red” product shots, your dog won’t be able to pee!!

If you need something to keep your baby warm, this is not it. These items are extremely thin and offer no warmth. ​I purchased two in size Small (in different colors) for my miniature schnauzers, who weigh 13 and 15 lbs. The product advertised the Small size as fitting dogs up to 20 lbs. However, the Small is sized more appropriately for a tiny chihuahua; I can't even imagine what the XS would fit! ​We live in an area where it snows occasionally and the temperatures are frequently below freezing. This material has the thinness of a sleeveless shirt you might put on a dog in the summer. ​Overall, it simply isn't worth the money, and I am very surprised that Target is selling a product of this quality.
