Bully Tools Steel Broadfork with 2 Fiberglass Handles

I bought this broad fork for my husband who has a very large 100’ x50’ vegetable garden. Every Fall he covers the whole thing with a thick layer of compost, leaves, and grass clippings after harvesting so by the Springtime it’s all ready to plant without having to till. In the past he’s used a shovel in the Spring before planting just to loosen the soil and aerate it, so you can just imagine how long that took. But now with this broad fork that job has been lessened tremendously. It’s made so very well, is really strong and will stand up to years of proper use. The sharp tines make quick work of loosening and aerating the garden soil. The best situation to obtain that rich black soil every gardener loves. And it’s super easy to use. He just loves it. He wonders now why he hasn’t had one until this year.

The Broad fork was purchased to loosen our clay and rocky soil way down deep to find rocks, and mix in some sand and fertilizer, so we can expect Straight Carrots…??? We are now hopeful!

This tool does what I hoped and is easy to use. Highly recommend.

Used it on three well established medium gardens and the right hand handle is already wobbling forward and backward. Should have bought a Meadow Creature People’s Broadfork with metal handles. Not happy with my purchase.

With this Broad-fork, I’ve been able to move thru preparations and planting of approximately 300’ of garlic in our Community Garden for Spring Harvest. The soil is high clay content and too wet for the rototiller, but the Broadfork cuts though like butter!

I was surprised at how easy it was to push into the ground and lift! made light work of asparagus bed. I haven't tried outside the garden yet but believe this is going to be a work saver.
