I developed an allergy to chemical sunscreen and must now wear mineral sunscreen on my face, but it has been trial and error finding a product to remove the mineral sunscreen. I chose Burt's Bees Cleansing Oil because it is EWG verified, and it works beautifully.

I got my bottle and barely used it and it's already gone. I flipped it over and on the ledge of my shower there was a pool of the oil. The bottle was cracked! I believe this happened when I picked it up, horrible packaging if the bottle broke so easy. For spending $16 on this I only got to use it a dozen times or so. Not happy.

In my effort to use clean beauty products, I replaced my regular cleansing oil with this one. It managed to get in my eyes every time I used it no matter what, and causing terrible burning. It then caused intolerable irritation to my eyes for up to two days after not using the product, making them feel irritated, dry, and wet. To make matters worse, it caused one of the worst breakouts I have experienced. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

This is the first cleansing oil I have ever used. Truthfully, it was a little hard getting use to the fact that you do not wet your face or hands. You simply apply the cleansing oil onto your hands and rub it on your face. Then you wet your hands and massage the oil into your skin and then rinse. It is amazing how refreshed and smooth your skin feel afterwards. I was worried about breaking out but after two weeks of using, none! Very nice

I used to use Origins Clean Energy - I found this when they changed their formula. This was half the price and amazing! I am 50 and am told frequently (by men) how amazing my skin looks. Ladies - try this! A good skin care routine is critical and a oil based cleanser is step 1 - I have combination skin and I never skip using this cleanser.

This oil is not just moisturizing but it smells delicious! It goes on oily but quickly absorbs in without staining clothes. I’ve had friends try it and they immediately ordered some for themselves. I love it in the summer and winter. It’s soothing after a day on the beach while not too heavy and it’s just as emollient in our cold northeast winters. I always make sure I have extra bottles for back up.

This is my go-to cleanser. I honestly don’t usually wear makeup, although the times I have this has been fantastic at removing. Most soaps and lotions agitate my sensitive skin and I use this as a face cleanser. This oil does not cause my skin to sting nor turn red. I also have extremely dry skin. The oils are very nourishing. It seems to be moisturizing my skin as well as making it feel cleaner after use. My skin complexion is more even and looks healthier after 1 use. I now also use a separate SA cleanser for exfoliation every now and then. But an SA cleanser can be easily overused and will leave skin slightly dry after. The Burt’s Bees oil won’t throw anything out of loop like that and will simply make my skin feel better. It makes me feel clean and moisturized without the irritation of most products.

Absolutely love!! Completely changed my winter. I have very dry skin in winter- itchy! I used this product on dry hands all over my dry body then jump in the shower to rinse off. Feels amazing. Surprisingly, cleanses well. Then I dry off and use a moisturizer. Highly recommend. I’ve tried everything, literally dozens of cleansers to help my itchy skin. Nothing works like this. Not even close.

This is the most slept on product ever! I’ve been afraid that people will find out and the price will go up. This is ten times better than the Elemis make up remover that costs way more. This is my double cleansing go to (works great on its own) and can take down the toughest waterproof mascara without irritating eyes (I wear contacts).

I will never go back to using regular face wash! I used to have bad hormonal acne when I was younger and it's gotten better now that I'm in my 30s but I still struggle from time to time. I have tried so many different brands of face cleaners including really expensive brands but they all dry my skin out or cause breakouts if I use them everyday. This oil I use morning and night and my skin has never been so smooth, clear and moisturized. I remove my makeup first with makeup remover wipes, then rub the oil on dry skin. I then wet my hands and rub it in more before rinsing very thoroughly, then I use my moisturizer. I rarely write reviews but WOW I hope they never discontinue this.

I absolutely love this cleansing oil. My face has never been softer. It hasn't broken me out and does not irritate my eyes, but it works really well for taking my makeup off. It also has a nice but not overpowering smell. Will definitely be repurchasing when I run out.
