I’ve never liked lipstick all that much so being able to have some colour without a thick lipgloss had been amazing. I’ve already bought another one to have in my car. Highly recommend this product.

I do wish the colour was a little darker but I found if I paired with my favourite lip liner that it worked out really nice. I will happily buy again

It's subtle, but it's there and adds a lovely colour. This is one of the few balms that I have found that lasts a long time when my lips feel dry and I tend to rub them together a lot. It's the perfect product when you're on the go with outdoor pursuits!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit hesitant to use the product since it was tinted. I usually slather on my lip balm a few times a day to keep my lips from drying out. Was unable to do my usual slathering since the tint showed dramatically outside of my lipline. Ended up using it way more than usual during the day. I usually use the same lip balm product at night as well so obviously had to change to a more appropriate one at night. Didn’t find it as hydrating as my regular balm to be honest. Was okay to use for a special occasion maybe. The colour looked a bit dark on my brown skin too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I’m pleasantly surprised. I am not a fan of stick balms in general because they’re almost always never enough on their own (for me). But this one, right from the first swipe had a lot of “body” to it. I didn’t have to go back and forth building layers and it did not feel waxy or sat on top of the lips. There is a very subtle flavour which I can appreciate. The colour is extremely faint and does not show up on my pigmented lips at all but I don’t mind that much. I actually look forward to reapplication and am definitely gonna throw it in my work bag. Oh and also want to mention that I went to sleep with it and it was still just as much present on my lips in the morning!

If you are hoping for a super moisturising lip balm, you might be a bit disappointed, I have tried other Burts Bees products in the past that were better at keeping my lips moisturised. However if you are just looking for slight moisturising and a tinting effect this is perfect. The only other catch is, you need to watch what you are doing when putting on the lip balm. A few times I winged it with no mirror and later found some stray lines that should not have been there.

The red dahlia tint is a gorgeous berry shade, that’s subtle but noticeable, enhancing my natural lip colour without being too bold. It’s perfect for a no-makeup or minimal-makeup look. The formula itself is sheer, hydrating, and not sticky. It keeps my lips moisturized for a decent amount of time, although I usually find the need to reapply every few hours. If you’re looking for a natural, fuss-free balm in a gorgeous shade which gives your lips a healthy tint and feels good to wear, Red Dahlia is a solid pick.

I often use lip balm as I am outside a lot and have dry lips. This gives me the feeling of lip balm but with a hint of lipstick. My lips feel great and look good too. This is my preferred colour.
