Overpowering ginger, strange aftertaste
The texture of the soup is good, but the ginger is way too strong and covers up the butternut flavor. I agree with the other reviewers that there is some flavor that is borderline metallic. I love soup, but I didn’t even want to finish the bowl. I don’t feel like it’s worth the calories. If you’re looking for a solid butternut squash soup, try the Panera bread brand.

This soup brings Thanksgiving to the table
Bring the taste of Thanksgiving right to your table. The folks who gave a one star for this must’ve been tasting some other type of soup because this soup is creamy, It’s rich, It’s tasty with sweet hint of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. The only thing missing is a big old turkey and ham in the middle of the table. Cook it slow so it has time to cook and some time to rest. It’s amazingly wonderful.

Tastes like chemicals, awful aftertaste
I grabbed this on a whim during a recent shopping trip because I love my homemade butternut squash soup & was hoping this would be a nice alternative when I don’t have time to cook or don’t want to spend the money at Panera. (Their autumn squash soup is also delicious!) Unfortunately, I couldn’t even finish my bowl! It basically tastes like chemicals and has an awful aftertaste. I’ll be throwing the rest of the jar away.

Butternut Squash Soup
I really wanted to like this but I have 2 complaints. 1 - this starts off fine but has an awful, bitter after taste. It's like eating metal and this after taste will NOT go away. I took 3 bites an hour ago and its still there, even after drinking something to help with the bitterness. I had gotten the tomato soup in this brand and had the same issue. 2 - it's really sweet and I prefer a more savory squash soup.

Classic fall flavor but very sweet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I were excited to try this fall soup. We enjoy butternut squash soup, but this turned out to be a lot sweeter than we were used to or expecting. When you look at the ingredients, you can see there is a lot of added sugar in it. The spices used in the soup are good and flavorful, but our personal preference would have been for it to be more savory. It is also really thin. If you like really sweet soups, this might be a good pick for you, but it wasn’t my family’s preference. I received an incentive to write this review.

Delicious butternut squash soup on the sweet side
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This buttternut squash soup is delicious and perfect for fall. It is definitely more on the sweet side than the savory side, but my toddler asked for more and I count that as a dinner win. It has a nice consistency that is not watered down. I wish it had less sodium but I know most soups are very high in sodium content. I have genuinely liked the Good & Gather products, and this soup is no exception. I would definitely buy it again. I received an incentive to write this review.

Creamy and sweet soup for an easy meal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure what to expect from this soup but both my toddlers enjoyed it for dinner. It was very easy, literally just microwaved it in a bowl and done. Both kids liked it, one had it with goldfish and avocado, the other ate it with noodles on the side. It’s a good soup to have for a quick snack or easy meal! It’s sweet and creamy. It does have added sugars though not too bad for the serving size a kid will eat. Creamy and tasty soup for the fall season

This was a smooth and creamy butternut squash soup. The flavor of the spices (cinnamon and nutmeg) was strong but not overpowering. Sweet butternut squash soup
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really really hoping that this butternut squash soup would be a quick and easy replacement for my home made butternut squash soup.. however it just doesn’t hit the mark for me. I don’t love the sweet flavoring. But, I do love the consistency and butternut squash flavoring! I wish it was a bit more savory than sweet but that’s okay!
