Love the pattern, but to perform as shown, this valance will need to be lined. I’d describe it as thin quilting cotton, not a stand alone drapery material. I started to hang it on an extremely overcast day (no sun shining) and was disappointed because the single layer fabric is washed out and looks bad compared to the doubled up areas of the seam & pocket.
