Cafe Bustelo Light Roast Keurig K-Cup Coffee Pods - 22ct

You assume that "light roast" means it doesn't have the same flavor as the original, but this is like the sweet, fruity little sister of the medium roast. Came in a convenient Keurig-style box perfect for stacking, especially since I'm low on counter space. I didn't get the same jitters as you normally would with a regular Bustelo, but I expected that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by the Café Bustelo light roast. It can be hard to find a good light roast because many times you find that it just does not have enough of that bold coffee flavor that you want when you have a cup of coffee. Many times, it will come out looking see-through and taste more like water with a hint of coffee. Café Bustelo's light roast did not have that problem. It still hit with that warm, rich flavor I was looking for. I am a girl who likes her coffee with some sweetness, and I am always adding creamer flavors to give it that. I was shocked that this had a little sweetness to it before I even added my creamer. I still added creamer for a little more of that sweetness, but combined with the sweet richness of the coffee, it made for an amazingly delicious cup of coffee. I would say if you like a light, rich, coffee with a hint of sweetness, this is something you will love much like I do.

It's smooth, flavorful, and not too strong-perfect for mornings when I want something lighter but still delicious. Super easy with the K-Cups and always hits the spot. Definitely a new favorite!

However, I like the light roast matter than the medium roast. I don’t think it smelled amazing either. I feel like it had a harsh and “bitey” taste, so it is just not for me but, I love the packaging though!
