PURE AND SIMPLY THE BEST
As it is impossible to find calcium citrate without additives that I do not want or need, I have been using this powder each am mixed in my orange juice, for many years, and am quite happy with it. It was an adjustment at first, to switch from a pill to a powder, but it has become routine, and this excellent, unadulterated product is well worth the effort.

If you want a calcium supplement without the added 10 or 15 chemicals, this is the one to buy. Just good calcium citrate. easy to dissolve and take too.

NOW's calcium citrate is a fine, white powder that stirs easily into juice, without leaving a granular residue found in other calcium powders. It adds just the slightest alkaline taste (easily countered with a bit of additional citric acid) and allows me to enjoy a sound and refreshing sleep at bedtime.

Worth it!

This is THE BEST powdered calcium citrate I have ever used in my life. It tastes very mild and pleasant to me, mixes up smoothly and goes down easily. Leaves only a tiny bit of undissolved powder in the bottom of the glass, but it isn't gritty like some other brands, and I simply pour a scant amount more water into the glass, swirl, and toss it back -- it pretty much cleans the glass out. Also, my hair test results show -- this calcium works GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

Great product that helps me avoid too many capsules and/or tablets with fillers, binders etc. Especially trying to watch magnesium stearate- it seems to be in most supplements. Just mix with water or desired beverage

GREAT calcium product! Pleasant, extremely mild flavor that dissolves in water easily with only a slight residual remainder (swirl the bottom when the glass is almost empty to get almost all of it), no unwanted ingredients, and the powder can be meted out in the dosage YOU need. Price can't be beat. What more could you ask for?

Wonderful Product
This powdered calcium product has been changed. When I bought the NOW calcium citrate powder a few years ago it was gritty, and made smoothies less than smooth. I repurchased this year, and all the grittiness is gone. An easy cost effective way to supplement calcium.

Good for Special Diets
A good product if you need a calcium supplement without the fillers and added ingredients; I was glad to find it for this reason. It is messy, but otherwise a good product. Does mix well in soft food like applesauce if you have difficulty drinking plain in water.

More absorb-able form of Calcium that dissolves well. I like the fact that with a powder I can vary the dose as I see fit. Plus Calcium tablets tend to be large, so for those with swallowing difficulties, this would be good also.

This Now Foods calcium powder is great. I thought before I tried it that it would taste really chalky and horrible, being a powder, and also that it may not want to dissolve in water, but neither was true! In actuality, I look forward to taking this calcium! It actually tastes YUMMY to me (unsure of if this is a sign that I really needed it) and in addition, you just put the powder in some water, give it a twirl with the spoon, and voila! it's all dissolved! Couldn't be easier to take; you just measure out the dose you need. Since it's a powder, you can customize your dose! This will definitely be my preferred brand and type of calcium from now on. (And it's a superb value, too.)

Excellent product,
My blood calcium was too low but after starting to use this it is in the good range in fact slightly high so it is very effective more than the tablets which I don't seem to digest well.

i purchased this on reccommendation from a co-worker, and mixed the 1.5 tsp serving in 32 oz of apple juice. i don't think it tastes bad, but it settles really badly at the bottom of my glass. :(

Great for adding to foods.
This is a great way to add calcium to your foods. I use it for baking, and add it to juices. It's a great form of vegan calcium without all the fillers that go into vitamins. And there's no bad taste.
