Calico Critters Popcorn Trike, Dollhouse Playset with Figure and Accessories

This is the most adorable play set ever! Nobody loves popcorn more than my daughter, so this was the perfect Christmas gift. Also, it was mostly assembled, which was nice.

It came with lots of cute accessories and my daughter really likes that she can pop the toy popcorn like she’s really making it. She really likes the critter that came with set, too. It makes a nice addition to the other sets she already has.

She will spends hours at a time being occupied with these. This play set is perfect to imagine an amusement park! A bike that can transport the popcorn machine and supplies, but can also be used just as a bicycle! Such cute little accessories. Epoch companies had created quality products with the Calico Critters line of toys

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set has a lot of value in a small package. As a parent, there are two facets of Calico Critters sets that I appreciate. The first is that it is a collection that can be expanded with additional sets and figures at multiple price points that can be gifted for any and every occasion and are built to last a lifetime. The second is the versatility implemented into every design. The popcorn tricycle is no exception. The popcorn machine is freestanding and can be removed. Its absence creates a tandem bike that can cart around an adult figure with a child in tow. There are multiple ways to serve the popcorn whether it's in a cup or in the adorable lidded buckets. I appreciate the availability of options as it creates multiple ways to play with the toy, extending the excitement, and it helps build confidence in decision making. The set also provides a platform for other lessons including basic economic principles, collaboration (as proprietor and customer) and taking turns. I love watching my kids' imaginations blossom through pretend play. As for functional components, the popcorn machine has a door that opens and closes and pops when the handle is cranked. There is a serving spoon with a designated place, though I would've preferred had it not been clear (it's small and hard to locate when misplaced). Popcorn cups can be held via handhold and buckets can be slung over the shoulder of figures. The set also includes a figure as well as a sweets stand with lollies and cupcakes to fill any craving. When it's time to pack everything up, I place everything, aside from Barbara Sheep, inside the machine for secure storage until next time.

She has it set on the fireplace in the family room and plays with it all the time while the rest of the family watches TV. It is so cute to see her make believe and play with the little pieces. The colors are cute in the set as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my daughter's birthday and I can say it was a hit. She loves playing with tiny toys and this falls right into that. Due to the size of some of the parts I would not recommend to little kids.

It is such a great toy for my granddaughter it sparks her imagination, keeps her entertained and she loves playing with the Popcorn Delivery Trike. The product is sturdy enough for little hands to enjoy playing without worrying about it breaking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter recently got very in to calico critters so I had to get this cute popcorn trike for her to add to her growing collection! I love how well made all calico critters products are and the attention to detail is far above other toys! This popcorn trike was no exception to what I’ve seen from this brand already. It is constructed beautifully and all the little details are on point. There’s some little popcorn kernels to throw in the popcorn maker and when you crank the wheel the kernels pop in the air. So cute and will last a lifetime of treated right.

They used their imaginations and all the pieces to spend a whole 2 hours creating a land and pretend scenarios with it. There are a lot of tiny pieces which we are worried about losing. It could be helpful to have a box or little tote to keep them in (which is what we had to do since we have a dog around the house as well). Overall, such a fun and well made product. I know my kids will play with this for a long time! Thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were very excited to get a new toy the Popcorn Delivery Trike Calico Critters as every kid when received a new toy. It's beautiful and very detailed my kids has to much fun every time they play with. Is a toy with quality the pieces don't broken easy. The box says is for kids 3+ but I don't think so, because has a very small pieces, and a child can be choking is put in her/his mouth. But overall is a great toy and I enjoy watching my kids playing with this beautiful toy.

She was “oohing” and “aahing” at how cute the set is! She had a little party for her toys instead of asking for her tablet.

I like that it has multiple tiny servings of popcorn to serve to your toys. It makes it feel real because of that. Everything just looks so cute and fun to play with. I really want to just get every set available and make a big toy city out of them.

This set is great because it comes with several pieces that will work great with other Calico Critters characters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old daughter LOVES this sweet little set and I love that it encourages imaginative play. Her favorite feature is the little turning crank that makes the mini popcorn balls actually pop around in the clear popcorn cabinet. The only downside there is that the handle on that little clear popcorn cabinet is really difficult for her to open independently. This is her first Calico Critters toy and I'm sure she'll be after more and more of them. One note: it's described as for ages 3+, however I would definitely not purchase for any child under 5 due to the choking risk the many tiny pieces would pose for little ones and the fine motor skills needed to manipulate the tiny pieces.

I’d never heard of these characters before but, I think they’ll become a swift favorite. The characters are well made and all the little pieces are easy to put together. The box is easy to open and take the pieces out, which is greatly appreciated! Over all I think this is a great product and a very nice and sturdy toy.

The bunny matches the theme of the set. There was very little assembly involved so it came from the box just about ready to play. It seems very durable as it hasn't been broken and my kids are very rough with toys. I think it will bring many months of fun.
