Q: How do you switch between filters?

submitted by Isabella - 6 days ago
  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Camp Snap Screen-Free Digital Camera Because this camera is designed to be screen-free and minimalist, you cannot switch filters directly on the camera itself while you are out shooting. The camera can only use one filter at a time, and that filter is set by transferring a file to the camera's internal memory via a computer or smartphone. The design philosophy is that you choose your "film" style before you go out, similar to a disposable or film camera, and you are locked into that look until you get back to your computer. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Getting One for All My Cousins This Holiday

Likes: screen-free, simple to use, genuinely insane battery life, vintage looking pics (especially once you master the lighting). Dislikes: Literally everyone asks me about it when I use it lol.

Best $70 spent!

I love this camera! I think people are thinking too much into the “replacing film” aspect. This camera is meant to be fun and replace taking picture with your phone and to “live in the moment!”

Perfect Nostalgia!

This is great for those that want that early 2000’s photo finish. Do not expect like 4k HD quality. I like the ease and quickness of photos. No waiting for developing photos, they sync right up to your phone!

false advertisement, but decent digital point and shoot.

I fell for the "vintage" point and shoot craze and picked up this camera thinking it was gonne give me this grainy, and retro style photo trhat you think of when you think of disposable cameras of the 80's-00's. This camera only delivers that feel in the aesthetics of the camera and not in the actual photos. after taking some test photos (which i have included the raw photos in the review), The photos do not have that warmth and retro vibe. but it is a perfectly fine digital camera and a decent enough quality images. i also had issues with the view finder as the objects are closer in the view finder than they are in the image. The wider image of the truck showed only the truck in the viewfinder, whereas the closer image of the truck i only say the cetner of the truck in the view finder, so if you want closer shots you will have to get closer than you think you do. with that being said it's a servicable digital camera, but advertising it as a camera that takes vintage style photos is misleading.

Simple, straightforward, and screen-free.

Disenchanted by digital photography and soulless social media? Maybe not, but I was. This little camera has brought the joy back to capturing memories, not as perfectly composed images, designed for hashtags and likes, but as true snapshots, organic and fun. It's a very honest device, and what you see is most definitely what you get. It's small, light, and incredibly simple to use. Yes, it feels a little toy-like, and no, the image quality is not especially great; but if you found your way to this site, chances are those two concerns aren't your top priorities.

Great concept! This camera takes

Great concept! This camera takes “OK” pictures, but I wish it did as well as a modern iPhone or Galaxy. I like that a flash is included, but the camera feels very lightweight. Since this is targeted at children, there should also be a guard that protects the lens when the camera is off. This could even be a manual control with a slide to do so, and doesn’t have to be automatic, so long as the shutter button is locked so that the photographer quickly realizes the lens is protected, instead of thinking they’re taking pictures.

I really like the look of the camera. I haven’t been able to see any pics cause I didn’t realize I had to own a PC in order to hook the camera up. Looking at alternatives. Hope to some day know.

The camera is perfect and a lot of fun to use! The only downside is that buying from Italy is too expensive and the shipping times are long. I ended up paying almost as much for the shipping as for the camera itself. Other than that, it’s a great product that I’ll always carry with me!
