I buy the iced oatmeal bars often and was so excited to see this seasonal flavor. They are soft and very flavorful. Just the right amount of sweetness between the caramel and the icing! I would have been okay with bigger chunks of apple baked in but not a dealbreaker. Perfect for a grab and go breakfast or an afternoon treat! I received an incentive to write this review.

Then when we saw these caramel apple seasonal ones, we decided to give them a try and they did not disappoint! It tastes very heavy on the cinnamon, it’s not bad but not the taste I was expecting, texture is fine just like a chewy granola bar which I prefer over the crunchy kind, it has 5g of added sugars which is not horrible but I prefer less added sugar, the lower the better, my toddler loved it though and she even asked for more “candy bar” I received an incentive to write this review.

The bars have a chewy texture with chunks of dehydrated apple that you can see and taste. The icing drizzle adds a touch of sweetness. The portion size is good, not too skinny. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love these. I love all fall flavored items and Good and Gather normally knocks it out of the park. These had a really artificial sweetened flavor, almost plastic like, and were hard to finish. The consistency was similar to the tiger oat bars but I couldn’t get past the taste. My kids were not fans either so we’ll likely not be finishing this box of bars. I received an incentive to write this review.

These are terrible. The flavor was meh after you chew it for a bit. I don’t understand all the good reviews because the only part of the bar that tastes good is the drizzle, and it doesn’t make up for the horrendous texture. It was like chewing a cardboard brick. Hard and dry! I thought maybe I got a bad batch, but I bought boxes of 2 other flavors and they are all like this. The box says baked, so I assumed a soft treat. These are inedible. There are so many other very tasty gluten free bar options.

The negative reviews bum me out. I love these and hope they bring them back next year. I’m three boxes deep. The bar itself is very apple oatmeal. The drizzle on top gives caramel. Totally delightful.

The item would have been fine as I have ordered it before. However, the customer service from Target was horrible. I never received the item from my pick up order and when I canned to get the issue resolved I was told there was nothing they could do about it and I would be out the money. Terrible customer service. Think twice about ordering pick up!
