A: Hello! Thank you for asking! Here are some cooking instructions for the stove top: Stovetop: Heat skillet on medium heat. Brown the outside of the meatballs for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Then, lower the temperature to medium-low, add ¼ cup water, or enough water to cover the bottom of the pan, and cover for about 15-18 minutes until a minimum inside temperature of 165°F is reached. (For best results, cook until 185°F.) Stovetop with tomato sauce: Heat skillet on medium heat. Brown the outside of the meatballs for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Then, lower the temperature to medium-low, add about 12 oz. or 1 1/2 cups of tomato sauce, and cover for about 20-26 minutes until a minimum inside temperature of 165°F is reached. Yes, they are gluten free. You might think "awesome! Gluten free meatballs!" But once you taste them, you will think "così shifoso!" Upon further inspection, they 100% pork, made by Smithfield. They obviously figure out a way to use some of their pork scraps. Steer clear! - Celiac Italian

I still can't find a good frozen or premade fresh meatball company. I thought this would've been the one but completely unedible as it had way to much salt and a pork texture and taste. Meatballs were hard and loaded with grease. Avoid.

Are you looking for fork tender meatballs? Then these are not it. These are bad. Simmered for a long time in sauce and they were still so hard and just tasted bad, didn't realize they were straight pork at the time. I mean didn't expect incredible frozen meatballs? But I was expecting edible, or tolerable. They are neither.

I agree with the other reviews. They are tough and salty. I cooked them in sauce to see that helped but it did not help :(. I also could not find the expiration date.

Decided to try this on a whim, cooked according to package instructions and they were tough. Cooking time didn’t seem like it was enough, we even simmered in sauce after and they weren’t very good. We were dissatisfied with these for sure.

Bake for 15 minutes, then gently turn the meatballs over and bake for an additional 13 to 17 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees and they are no longer pink. For the best results and to achieve a more tender meatball, we suggest cooking them until the internal temperature reaches 185 degrees. They are in no way authentic Italian Meatballs. They are like nuggets of italian sausage removed from the casing. Incredibly dense, salty. Contain no veal or beef. Misses the mark badly. Change the product, it is no good. Look at your reviews and go back to the drawing board. This is not it.

These meatballs have the taste and texture of a sausage link. Very dense. I had to cut them into smaller bites since my fork wouldn’t do the trick. I didn’t hate them but I prefer a softer texture.
