A: Our longer-handled cookware, such as the Sauté Pan, Fry Pan, and Sauce Pan all have a notch a few inches up the handle. This notch designates at what point the handle should stay cool enough to grab with bare hands. Extended use could cause that warmth to increase slightly further up the handle, but it would not for nearly all regular meals and recipes!

I chose Caraway because it is PTFE and PFOA free. It’s a cleaner option than other companies. Love the color as it complements my kitchen. Cooking with this set is quick and they heat evenly. The cons: the lid handles get hot and they aren’t as nonstick as I hoped (eggs stick and I have to soak the pan to scrape off residual food). But overall very happy with the purchase and will definitely buy more in future.

Bought the very expensive 10.5 fry pan. EVERYTHING STICKS!!!! Did the low heat like suggested by Carsway. Used olive oil and butter and everything still sticks. Waste of money would never by again and the log for the fry pan is ridiculously heavy for some reason!
