Great lid

The lid works but the design is a total flop. It doesn’t have any ridge around the outside. When you use it, the bottom side gets wet and the glass gets very hot. If you take the lid off and put it down on your counter, you’re putting the wet hot glass flush onto your counter top. Personally, that grosses me out. You can’t flip it upside down so the handle side is to the counter either because the glass is hot during use. Your best bet is to prop it up on something like a plate or a spoon rest. This doesn’t make it easy to use when you're cooking/multitasking. I think it should be redesigned, especially considering the cost.

We bought this so we could make basted eggs with our new pan and it works perfectly

Nice option to switch to a glass lid I like to see how food is cooking without having to lift the lid
